Water, Water Everywhere

We played in a foursome and it was another very hot day. We had all played the course before, but we all agreed it had never seemed so tough. The fairways and greens were in excellent condition but the water on nearly every hole, plus the abundance of traps made the day a challenging one.
None of us did well on this course, this day but we enjoyed our round and we couldn't blame the course for our poor play.

Worth the trip

My husband and I played the course on a Sunday and decided that a trip on a week day would be more satisfying. Play was quite slow but we thought the course was in great shape. The fairways were well kept and the greens were excellent. The front nine was easy but the back nine was more challenging and interesting.
Aesthetically this course is very appealing. They have done a great job dressing up each hole with flowers, cement patio stones for benches to sit on and wood containers to hold garbage and recycling. All in all the course was worth the trip from Lombardy.
The 18th hole was spectacular and should be considered their signature hole.
We enjoyed our day and will be back (but on a week day).

Dear hatgolf

Thanks for coming out to Dragonfly! Our mantra is "worth the drive" and we are glad that you did. Your comments are valuable and we are happy that you approve our course and some of the improvements we have been making We are aware that pace of play can be an issue on busier days and we are trying to staff our player assistants differently to handle the extra traffic we have been getting lately.
Hope to serve you soon,

The Dragonfly team.

An Appealing and Well-maintained Course

It was a cold cloudy day when we played but the course conditions were very good and it was a challenging course on the whole for both myself and my partner. The course is very appealing to the eye with flower beds at most tees and they are all well maintained. We found some of the ladies' tees to be a lot shorter (almost 80-100 yards) from the mens'. We found the staff to be welcoming and conscientious on all our visits. It's certainly worth the drive to play Mapleview and the value is unbeatable with their special deals.
