Played on 3/19/22. Starter paired us with a single and stated that we would be behind a 5-some. I quickly gave him the stink eye as I was shocked that any nice course would send out a 5-some on a Saturday. He assured me that they were good golfers and would keep up. They were not, and did not. They finally let us go by at the turn and we quickly made up the 2 holes that they were behind. The course was in beautiful condition with nice over-seeded fairways and nearly perfect bent grass greens. The staff were friendly and prices in the golf shop were quite fair. I would recommend this course and will play again in the future. Only disappointment was being behind a 5-some of buddies hacking it around.

Great layout. Had a rain delay and the clubhouse has a great bar to enjoy a drink and pass the time. Played 18 holes in just under 3 hours, the way it should be.

Punched greens 2 weeks earlier. Called the day before my round to confirm and notify me that the greens were not quite 100%. Really appreciated the notification. Greens were fine. Rolling true and not bumpy. Course was very manicured. No one else on the course on a Monday. Played 18 holes in 2:50. Recommend this course.

Beautiful area with nice homes. Course is a nice country club layout. Greens and fairways were awesome.

Course was in good shape. Greens rolling true. Enjoy the layout that is not as mundane as some of the other “old” Myrtle Beach courses.

I really enjoyed the layout and elevation changes. Good course to get away from the resort areas.

Played with a couple of local gentlemen who play at St. Cloud regularly because of the good course conditions. Greens were excellent and nice fairways.

I've played this course before. Great layout and condition. Had a 1:22pm tee-time, teed off at 1:30pm waited, sometimes with 4 groups on the same hole, no one playing with any pace. Made the turn at 4:30pm. We played the front 9 again to try to get in 18 before darkness. We were in by 6:00 in the dark. Need a ranger to keep people moving. When asked he said, "it's just slow." I said, "you have the power to move people forward when they fall behind." Seems he didn't know. Would have only gotten in 12 holes if we'd stayed in line.

Course is in as good shape as I have ever seen it.

Played as a threesome on a Monday afternoon. Good pace as it was not very busy. Challenging layout with interesting line choices. Greens were firm and quick, rolling true. Lots of unrepaired ball marks on the greens. A couple of bunkers weren't groomed, which is always disappointing. Overall, great experience.

Played on a Wednesday afternoon. Course is in good condition. Greens were on the slow side but expected after the recent snow. Greens rolled quite good and had been taken care of. We played as a twosome and finished in under 3hrs even with cart path only restriction. This course continues to impress with the conditions it has been kept in the past two years.

Had a 1:30 tee time. 1st tee backed up with 4 groups waiting. Had to sit and watch as a 5-some goes out 2 groups in front of us. No ranger on the course but when it was brought to the attention of staff at the turn they apparently sent them out that way with the course already backed up. Needless to say, we weren't able to finish the round before dark. Course was in good shape with over seeded fairways. Great layout and challenging greens. Only disappointment was following a group of 5 on a busy Sunday.

Course was in exceptional shape. Some re-sodding work being don on 11 fairway to improve conditions there. Greens were in great shape.

We played this course on a Sunday morning before leaving on a cruise out of Port Everglades. Course was in good shape, mature greens were fast, true, and receptive to good shots. Pace of play was right at 4hrs, I prefer to play faster but it was hard to complain. At $40 apiece, I can't imagine a better deal.

Saturday afternoon round, played 18 holes in 3hrs. Course is in great shape.

Oak Hollow is a challenging layout with an array of holes along the lakefront. The course was in very good condition. Greens were a bit shaggy and needed a shave, however, they were in good shape an very playable. They let a high school match shotgun off in the middle of our round and that ruined the experience. We couldn't even finish our round because of the pace. We played 12 holes in 90 minutes, then got behind the high school matches and played 3 holes in 60 minutes. We were behind a threesome of girls and were waiting 10-15 minutes between shots. Had to quit after 15 holes. My club closes 9 holes when they have high school matches and it's never an issue. Next time I'll verify if they plan to shotgun the kids off and I'll stay home or play somewhere else. Frustrating to have your round interrupted.

The Reynolds course at Tanglewood is overshadowed by the Championship course. With a little attention to keeping the greens more puttable, they would keep the Reynolds course as more than an "also ran". The course requires accuracy and shot making, especially on the back nine. With no "straight away par fives" bombers are not guaranteed birdie. This course is great for making you think your way around for a good score.
