A very nice experience and lovely golf course.
I know that the management of all of the municipal courses have to make tough decisions given the restrictions during the Covid-19 pandemic but there has to be a way to purchase drinks and food during the round. You do not have to buy from a beverage cart if you are unwilling to do so but to have nothing available (especially when you are walking 18 holes) is more of a danger to the players. Has to be a way to compromise and still maintain a safe environment.

Having been at home for the last month it comes at no surprise that my playing partners, like me wanted to play a round.
The course was set up to observe all of the new regulations but it makes zero sense not to have water available at every hole especially when it is over 80 degrees outside. I say this since one of the foursome had to be taken off the course in an ambulance when he got dehydrated. You do not have to put cups out since I for one carry a water bottle and would like to have the option to refill it.

Have not played Sterling Hills in years so I was not sure what to expect. Found the course in very good shape and the greens are tight and fast. Some obvious things could be done to improve course conditions but overall the pace of play was better than most and the deal with lunch was hard to beat. Look forward to playing there again.

Hello! We are very sorry for this incident. We don't have any water coolers on the course because we wanted to remove as many touch points as possible, per the county health department order. Our beverage cart was also broken down at the time, or else we would have someone driving around the course. If you come out again, be sure to grab some water at the turn. We are are doing all we can to keep guests and employees safe during this unprecedented time. We are happy your playing partner is fine! Please feel free to call us if you have any further questions.
I don't agree they should have water out there during this time.
I myself brought a few bottles of water when I played there the other day. it was also hot, but bringing your own water is common sense, especially when walking. I drank every bit of my 3 bottles of water and I wished I had brought more. but I sparingly drank as I needed to get through without issue.
The course should not have to provide water to drink during these times. it only takes one person to play who has the virus to get someone sick by touching the water dispenser.
I wish they could have done something better about the flags ont he course. those little tiny blue flags impossible to see. the flags should have been red at least or bright orange or something that would stand out against the green of the grass the blue flags blended in quite a bit.
