the course has gone through a tremendous renovation since may 2020! the greens have gotten much much better, New bunkers added , new drainedge system being installed, fairways are beautiful and rough is trimmed on regular basis. I just am very impresses, as a member, the maintenance with care that the team at crane watch is treating the course! The owner, Mr. Dunwoody, is there to supervise the revisions being made and they are happening at a lightning pace, in spite of horrible weather. Course is very playable and fun. you will enjoy it and the pace is great.

it is indeed a wonderful course! however, due to an onslaught of rain last week, it is cartpath only. Very tiring for me trying to hit close to cartpath on each hole really decreases the width of the fairway!

It was a hot day made quite nice by the wonderful condition of the golf course! Cudos to the superintendent.

This course has a terrific layoff the only downside was that this is the day before the aeration process so the greens for a little bit rough for putt on. To be expected.! I can’t wait to go back after aeration. Period is over

I loved the layout! The course went through an overhaul in dec and January, so Time is needed to heal. The greens are extremely slow right now(8) but the course is still fun to play.

the fairways were beautiful! The GREENS were really slowwwwwwwwwwwwwwww. I Know " We are protecting them for the season." I hate to hit my Putter like an iron! Oh Well.

The day was great. Started with a delicious breakfast sandwich in the dining room. the course was in above average shape with beautiful greens.
Would love to play here often!

lots of ballmarks on greens. I got tired of repairing 2 plus my own mark. dried ballmarks are a pain to put over!
We appreciate the feedback and have made this a focal point. We do our best, but have asked our staff to be on the lookout and we've added new cart signs asking golfers to repair their ball marks. Because, hey, no one wants to putt on the moon... We have already seen a drastic improvement and the greens are rolling great.

nice course, nice people! greens were slow and bumpy!
We appreciate your review, you were correct the greens purposely were slower than normal preparing them for deep aeration thank you for understanding.. Stop by office next time you play Champs.
