Only play if your skill level is intermediate or better.

Overall this course was a very bad experience. I made a 7:00 AM tee time through this app. All online information indicated the course opened at 6. I showed up at 6, expecting to get checked in hit a bucket of balls to warm up. While maintenance workers were there at 6, no one opened up the shop until 6:45. It turns out 6 AM is their summer opening time. By that point I didnt have enough time to get a proper warm up, so I skipped the range. Buckets of balls were also grossly overpriced. A large was 10 bucks. I've played multiple other courses, much nicer ones overall, that were half that price. So already not off to a good start. Now onto the course. The course itself is playable and fairly well maintained from the fairways, the boxes, and greens. Everything else though was atrocious. Everything 1 ft or more off the fairway was knee high weeds. Not being the greatest golfer, I wound up losing all the balls I came to play with by the 3rd hole, simply because I couldnt keep the ball on the fairway. And I wasnt about to leave the course and go buy more golf balls just to lose those too. Some of that can of course be blamed on me being a newer player who isnt very skilled, but at least some of that is to be blamed on the fact that I didnt get the chance to warm up properly due to them not opening when the online info said they would. If I had a proper warmup, my long shots would have been much better, probably keeping me on the fairway more. I had no issues with my short game, which I warmed up on at the practice green while waiting for them to finally open. If you are at a skill level where keeping it on the fairways is automatic, I'd say this course is decent for the money, and a good way to keep your skills sharp for not a lot of money. But as a new golfer still trying to get better, it was a huge waste of money as I didnt even get to play half of the 9 holes I payed for. Also, the staff, while not overtly discourteous, werent apologetic at all about the miscommunication about the opening time. They basically shrugged it off that as a paying customer I wasnt getting the experience I should have gotten.

Only play if you are a decent to good golfer.

This course was overall a poor course. I made an online reservation through this app for 7 AM. Everything online said they opened at 6. I showed up at 6 to get checked in and warm up. Maintenance workers were the only ones there until about 6:45 when someone finally came and opened the shop so I could check in. By that point I didnt have enough time to get a bucket of balls and warm up properly. Apparently 6 AM are their summer hours. Buckets of balls were also highly overpriced. 10 bucks for a large. I've played much nicer courses who had large buckets for half that price. The off fairway maintenance was also atrocious. Anything more than 1 ft off the fairway was knee high weeds, and being a newer player who has trouble keeping it on the fairway, I lost all my balls by hole 3. It's a cheap desert course so I didn't expect everything to be as well manicured as a nice course, but to lose 5+ balls by the third hole less than 10 feet off the fairways due to lack of maintenance is unacceptable. And I wasnt about to go buy their overpriced packs of balls just to lose those too. If you are a good player who can keep it on the fairways, I'd say this is a decent course that's cheap to play at. It does have a couple par 4's and a dog leg par 5 so it gives more dimension to the game than a typical par 3 nine hole course. If you are a new player though like me, I would steer away from this course until you hone your skills.

Good value for the money

Overall this was a good course. Small, but typical of a par 3 course. Tee boxes and greens were well maintained, nice and green. "Fairways" leave a bit to be desired as they werent very green, but it's a par 3 course so most people dont spend a lot of time hitting from there. I was told I could replay as many times as I wanted so I played twice. Overall a very good value for the money, especially if you replay once or twice.
