Mount Si Golf Course
Played On 04/24/2018Druids Glen
Played On 10/15/20171000:1 awesome for mid October
Wasn’t expecting course conditions like this in the PNW for mid October. Great roll on the fairways and only three greens played like they had been punched yesterday.
Water hazards were 1/4 full so extra balls were aplenty but didn’t take away from experience.
Overall above expectations!
Druids Glen
Played On 09/22/2017Above average for beginning of fall!
Got on via GolfNow for less than 1/2 the normal rate. Pace was excellent.
Had been punched 2 weeks prior but only experienced shoddy rolls on select greens. Good second and third cut action on all holes.
No F&B service on the course for a Friday afternoon, though...?
Overall above expectations.
North Shore Golf Club

First time player, digging the range and homegrown staff. Course greens and fairways played decent despite rainy day. Good workout if you like to walk!
Water hazards are shallow, so if you hit one wet, your ball is easily retrieveable.
Can't wait to play this course dry!

Impressed me for my first time playing here. Manicured fairways, challenging distances and obstacles, really had fun!
Scorecards could be updated to wax (currently just sliced photocopies that didn't hold up to rain).
Hard to get in (need a temp pass to get into the base) but the experience is worth the trip and low greens fees to come.
Blue Heron Golf Course
Played On 10/15/2015Don't Want To Play Here In Fall, Winter or Spring
Even though the pro shop guy was amiable and helpful, I gave a sub-par rating to Blue Heron. This course needs some serious TLC, fairways left to grow 3" with muddy patches, lost three balls to the mud and tall fairway grass within 5 holes, gave up after 6 while paying for 18.
I might try this course in the summer, but in it's current condition, I wouldn't recommend it at all unless you like playing mudball in swampland.
Village Greens Golf Course
Played On 06/13/2015Fun little local course, needs improvement.
Subpar course, may be a good value for local residents but not for serious traveling golfers. Large patches of burnt grass dot landscapes close to greens, which are deeply sloped and challenging yet to which are fun to hit wedges.
Has a driving range for practice but it is limited to irons only (as is most of the course). Needed only a 3wood, irons wedges and a putter.
Did not see a marshal ONCE during play, got stuck behind a beginner and a foursome...why did they send me out as a single? Gave up after 15 holes, glad I paid only $15 for 18.
Got lost twice playing this tightly packed course, the map and flyers from their "pro shop" helped a little, but still couldn't find the 7th tee box.
Got what I came for, had as much fun as can be expected from a non-marshalled, unwatered course.
Foster Golf Links
Played On 05/25/2015Value course, less the service
The whole course was in good condition despite being one of the busiest public courses in the county. The only course employee who smiled at me was the marshal as he passed me, not the beverage cart employee, not the counter staffer.
The fairways are relatively straight ahead, not very challenging in that regard but they are tight. I wouldn't recommend this course to a beginner.
Had fun playing though!
Druids Glen
Played On 05/24/2015VALUE BABY, Value.
The course played very well, appears to be maintained regularly and greens played fast even at the beginning of real springtime.
Staff was super friendly!
If you fancy walking, do so at your own risk, it's about 150-175 yards from green to tee on every hole.
Some water hazards looked as though they weren't getting attention as some showed ugly black tarps and mud around their edges.
Lavender and yellow buds grow near the cart paths 1-9, adding some lovely color to the overpowering green all around you.
Stretches of long par fours on back nine could be considered par fives, especially 18.
Has a driving range but it could use some mats with rubber tees, as the ground was pretty beat up around the hitting spaces and everyone has to use their own tees to practice woods and drivers.
Had fun as soon as I started playing, didn't stop until the last ball fell. Will return.
Auburn Golf Course
Played On 05/18/2015Good Local Course
Beyond some slow play from beginners, this is a fun course to play as long as the good weather holds. It's down in the valley, so Northwest rain can take its toll, especially in the fairway along the cart path. Today the tee boxes, fairways and greens were fantastic and full.
The back nine play tough with a pair of blind holes (11 and 13).
The only bad mark is the lack of a practice range, they do have space for one and do allow you to warm up, but you have to do it with your own balls which you must pick up yourself.

Played On 04/12/2015CLEAN THIS PLACE UP!
This is not a well-managed course. Play should not suffer due to eyesores and like MANY piles of tree limbs and ugly stumps. The fairway and greens played excellent, but this course needs a makeover.
Water hazards with tarps showing, ground-up asphalt on the unkempt cart paths (they need repaving in many spots) and THE DEBRIS!!! I gave a two-star overall because the staff are working with what they have due to a windstorm. If this was my business I would do the responsible thing and close it until all of the many problem areas were presentable to all of my guests.
