Played On 01/26/2018Old South – fun to play – great course
Compared to other courses we played in the last few weeks, old South was in great shape for winter conditions. The tee boxes and greens were far better than the other courses we played on the island or near Bluffton. The staff are always friendly. Great value for the money paid.

Played On 02/24/2017A very nice course
Crescent is one of my favourite courses in Bluffton. The greens were in as good as shape no doubt due to the hurricane Matthew. The course is pretty and forgiving. The pace of play however was very slow as there was a five some ahead of us and no marshal to kick their butts. Otherwise it was a beautiful day.

Played On 02/23/2017A fun course to play with great scenery
Thoroughly enjoyed our round at old South. The course was in very good condition. A couple of gators here and there. Pace of play was reasonable. Greens were very good compared to other courses in the area.

Old South is in great shape. Staff are fantastic and scenery is wonderful. A must play course in SC. Played with Derek from the pro shop. Great fellow.

Pro shop attendant fantastic. Marshall professional and courteous. Course was in moderate condition. One of our favourites in the Bluffton/Hilton head area

Compared to many courses in Mesa , Scottsdale and Phoenix, we found the course poor-it was overpriced and in poor condition. I would not recommend this course to anyone.

I have played this course a few times a year for several years. The staff in the restaurant are great. The course is in rough shape and the greens are absolutely terrible. It is ok if you pay $12-15 a round but otherwise skip the course.
