Heard nothing but positive things about this course so my wife and I decided to try it for a quick 9 holes after work. When we arrived we were surprised to be informed that there was a tournament that afternoon and that things may be slow in front of us. No where on Golf now's website did it mention a tournament when we booked our reservation. We did get out on time for our 9 hole reservation however only played 4 holes after almost 2 hours. We were stuck behind two groups of 6 golfers for this "tournament:" We left after those 4 holes in complete frustration and will not come back again. What's worse is that the staff there didn't seem to care.

My wife and I arrived early for our round and were able to get out right away. The staff was very friendly and the course was well maintained. It is a little bit of a drive from Gilbert to Casa Grande but the course is great value for the money and we will definitely be back.

Ocotillo held a special event the day of our round for a local high school which I think is wonderful that they would use their facility for a local event however there was no mention of this event when booking my round.

I had a guest in from Los Angeles to play a round of golf with me and it took almost 3 hours to play 9 holes and then we were told we would have to play the same 9 again due to this special event and the slow pace of place we were not able to finish our round.

If Ocotillo had publicized this event at the time of booking I would have chosen another course for my guest and I to play.
