This place is very nice, but is usually somewhat expensive to ride and ALWAYS slow (5 hrs+).. Today, we started on the ValleyView course, which is much more challenging, but is slightly less good condition (greens, especially). The 2 of us flew thru there, then played LakeView, and were done in slightly less than 3 hrs.

Course was in remarkably good shape for this time of year.

Layout is simple, perhaps a little boring, but conditions are always very good. Prices are high for a 9-hole course. Some of the staff are really nice, others are cranky. More than once, the players I encountered on the course had a bit of an attitude. Old men who thought they owned the place - not outsider-friendly.

Nothing fancy, but good conditions and there were no leaves to slow you down. Finished in 3 hrs as a three some.

Short course in decent condition.
Not worth the price they normally charge, but OK if you get a 'Hot Deal' or the like.
Staff wasn't very friendly.

It was a beautiful day for golf.
Leaves on the course were few.
Some spots were getting quite dry.
The older gentleman working there was MUCH nicer than the old lady.
Only complaint is lots of people jumping around. and we were moving - 3.5 hr round.
Twice, a 2 some jumped in front of us, then we had to wait for them, and they weren't behind us prior.

Although they were aerated a few weeks ago, the greens were like putting on a burlap sack.

Enjoyed our round, although some of the greens could;ve been better maintained.

It started to pour before we started and everyone on the course came in. After 1/2 hr, we asked the older woman who was working there about a rain check and she REFUSED to issue us one, saying we had to take it up with GolfNow who we booked thru.

C'mon....it doesn't cost them anything to issue a rain check at a course like this. It's not like it's packed.

For some unknown reason, they cut down lots and lots of trees around the course, trees that were perfectly healthy, contributed to the beauty and protected folks from errant balls. I'm told it was to reduce the amount of maintenance (leaves, etc.).
HUGH mistake.
Plus, there are cut trees lying around everywhere - they didn't even clean their mischief up!

Should be nice and HARD and DRY and HOT during the season. Great move...

The guys at this course are all usually super friendly.
This time, we were approached on the 14th hole and told we had to leave, that we only paid for 9 and they had a league coming soon. In fact, we paid for 18 and a call to the Mgr straightened that out. We were teeing off on 18 when the league came.
The guy who tried to evict us was VERY rude and unprofessional.
My tee time that I purchased from GolfNow did not indicate any number of holes, just that it was for Minebrook, that it showed as 18. The person with us was a walkon that paid for 18 - I knew him and heard him request his round at the Pro Shop. C'mon guys...
