Rio Hondo is my favorite course in the southern L.A. area. It's challenging, scenic and always well-run. Look no further for a great course.

This course is a fun little par 3 nine holes. But the views are very pretty. Got us on early. Fun times.

This is my favorite course within the Long Beach area. It's challenging, beautiful and the greens are great. Sand is always fluffy as can be expected. The clubhouse is beautiful, the staff friendly and if you want food and drinks at the turn, they are quick about it. Love this course! No wonder it's difficult to get a good tee time.

I played this course about four times a year. It is long and can be difficult. It needs to be mowed more often. I will often find myself in the fairway but in thicker grass than what I’m used to. There’s no water either. But it’s a challenge for sure.

What a great course. Fun time. Challenging for sure.

Rio Hondo always is a challenging, fun day of golf. It was my son's 1st run at a full 18 holes of golf and he loved it. Hills, water, sand, but with greens that aren't too difficult. Only 2 things prevented us from having a perfect day. After our 4some went out, the clubhouse kept sending 2somes and they would catch up with us and we would have to let them pass...4 times this happened. Then the marshall warned us for slow play. Really? Also there was no food cart on the course which would have been nice. The last time we were there, the cart girl was great and we were never short for water or drinks. Especially in this heat.

My friend and I found a deal on Golfnow for a Sunday at 7:20 Am for 9 holes off the back nine. We were able to play just the two of us, noone behind us, or in front of us. It was the most relaxing game of golf I'd had in a long time. Great staff and challenging greens.
