Summerfield Crossings Golf Club

Course was a great opportunity to get out and play, even in wet weather. Staff was accommodating and friendly. Greens were forgiving once you made it. Not too fast or slow. Tee boxes and fairways were decent. Some tricky areas to get beyond.
Terra Ceia Bay Golf & Tennis Club

This is a short course up a grade from an executive course, but with water in play on 14 of the 18 holes. Blue tees for the long and straight hitter, but fairly wide fairways. A great time to try out different clubs.
Wildcat Crossing Golf Club

The course is off the beaten path but accessible from I75 in a beautiful neighborhood setting. Course is fully functional for casual play and tournaments.
Myerlee Country Club

This executive course is good for practice with the irons, with only a couple of opportunities for a driver if at all. Lot of water hazards.

A great course with good greens, but fairways are very spotty. It pays to call ahead to avoid being caught up in a tournament.

The three 9 holes offer a variety of terrain and difficulty, but a pleasure to play fairly open fairways and challenging greens.
North Shore Country Club

A very classy and challenging 18 holes with great views along the North Carolina waterway.
A great beach course.
As a single player, I was able to finish 18 holes in 3 hours. Course in great shape, although fairly flat as for most beach courses. Greens had been aerated recently and covered in sand, so difficult to judge, but enjoyable.
Arcadian Shores Golf Club
Played On 02/09/2013A first class course in Myrtle Beach, but challenging.
This course was a real challenge for an over-the-70 mark, but doable if you stick with it. Watch out for the alligators!
Ocean City Golf Club - Seaside
Played On 11/05/2012Good Fall golf.
The course survived the hurricane and was in good condition except wet on some holes. Tees needed some attention but greens were overall good. Manmade hills offered some challenges.
Bull Run Golf Club
Played On 11/05/2012This course is a great value.
The front nine was fine until I hit the back nine with a shotgun tournament. A variety of challenges.
Goose Creek Golf Club
Played On 10/27/2012Goose Creek can be wonderful but the course was overcrowded on this day.
The management needs to control the number of players and the pace of play.
Prince William Golf Club
Played On 10/24/2012This course is nicely maintainly and friendly.
I recommend this course to any duffer who is looking for wide fairways and fast greens.
Ford's Colony Country Club - Blackheath Course
Played On 09/25/2012Great courses for a getaway.
Ford's Colony has 3 great courses that are both challenging and set in a beautiful setting. Staff goes out of the way to please.
Brambleton Regional Park Golf Course

Between occasional snow and wind, the play was good and worth going out.
