I play through the valley and always looking for a course that is reasonably priced, in good condition, fair pace of play and a nice layout. My game ranges from the low 80s to the high 80s. This course hit all my markers and will play again. It’s a course that has a lot of levels and elevation so playing at least once is an advantage. I liked the course. Rate was very fair for the valley in winter.

I play Rancho several times a year. Love the course because although not long it’s challenging. Elevations and views are spectacular. My only complaint is they need more sand in the traps but if you’re not in them it’s not an issue. This is a course you can play with all your clubs. Highly reccomend and bring my visiting golf friends here every time.

The course was in nice shape for post overseed. Obviously older golfers there but courteous. Staff was very nice and accommodating. Price is great for Arizona. I’ll play again.

I thought the course was in very nice shape and a good value for the price. It had rained all night so things were only a little slow on the greens and some casual water which has nothing to do with the course. I play all over the east valley and this is one I’ll play again since many courses in Scottsdale are very over priced. This is an excellent option for intermediate (80-90) golfers.

I’ve always enjoyed playing Silverado but the price has gone up too much although I understand that if people are willing to pay then this is what you can expect until people realize this is not a $180 course. There are many positives such as greens, fairways and sand so I won’t get into that. However we had a 2:00 tee time and they matched us with two that were only playing 9 holes so after the front nine we waited on each hole because we were only a twosome. I don’t think you let a twosome out at that hour.

The layout is all straight shots. Fairways were okay and greens were average but a little slow. Course would be fine for a golfer who shoots 90+ or as a warm up course after not playing for a couple of month. Just could recommend it to those shooting under 90.

The course is very average. All holes are straight. Greens average, better on back nine than front. Not a lot of hazzards. Good course to play if haven’t played in a while. Pace of play was excellent.

Play here somewhat frequently. Like the layout and it’s not over the top difficult. I recommend it for the average golfer. Has nice holes.

I play here frequently. The course is not difficult but has interesting holes. Its a great course for the average golfer. I have always found it to be in excellent condition. And although i have scored well there , it always seems to me that I should have scored better, so there is a reasonable test of golf for the average golfer.

I play here frequently. Course is fun to play. You don’t need to be a scratch golfer to score well but need to make the shots. The only down side is very slow pace of play because it is a popular course. Fairways and greens are always well maintained. I recommend playing this course.

I’ve played this course several times but the conditions were the worst ever. I understand that it was probably a combination of end of summer and overseeding preparation.However the pace of play was the worst I ever experienced anywhere. We spoke to the Marshall who was seen sparingly and his comment was the entire course is slow. But the group ahead of us should have been moved up when they were a hole and a half behind on the second hole. We waited on EVERY shot for 18 holes. The course should be better marshalled since this problem is easily solved. May want to consider another course if this continues.

I play here frequently. My only reason on this rating is that we had 3 days of heavy rain, standing water and other rain related issues. However this is a fun course, in very nice condition and usually a fair price ( not in high season). I’m 73 and okay white tees. Therefore it’s a good course for me and my friends. I do recommend this course unless you are less than a 6 handicapper and want a more challenging course.
