Great value for this course. Staff is excellent and course in great shape.

We scheduled a 2 p.m. tee time for a twosome on a Saturday. We were paired up with another twosome and had a good round. The pace of play was very slow there were several foursomes in front of us. The entire 18 holes took 5 hours

Course was in great shape however it was overbooked with too many players out at the same time our round took almost 5 hours

Staff were friendly and helpful. Recent rains made parts of the course a little wet but that was beyond the control of a course management. Courses pretty open. Overall a good course and an excellent value

I have played this course last year. Liked it very much and decided to take my daughter there for a my birthday round of golf. We are both very serious about her golf.
Staff was great about telling me about the water holes and bath rooms but failed big time to tell us they have 4 temporary greens. Would not have played or booked had been aware of the conditions. Not happy.

The Riviera Country Club was opened in 1953 and the club house is the original construction. It was clean but obviously older. The course was in great shape in spite of the recent Hurricane (Matthew).

Our only complaint was that they do not restrict walkers to late day Tee times as do many courses. The pace of play was pretty quick as we finished 18 holes in 3:15 but did experience several minutes wait times on several holes.

The green on the front 9 had been recently punched and sanded. However, no one advised of this when the reservation was made. The fairways were somewhat rough on the front but OK on the back 9. The greens were OK on the back 9 as well

We booked a 2:08 PM Tee time on a Sunday during the winter season. The weather was excellent which brought out far too many golfers. Unfortunately, the club accepted more reservations than it could accommodate and consequently, there were delays in starting (approximately 30 minutes) and continued delays the entire 16 holes we were able to play. We had to quit as darkness overcame us. We will avoid playing this course on weekends and during the winter season. We did not encounter delays in the past when we played off season (summer months).

The course was advertised as being renovated and temporary greens in use. However, the temporary greens were located at the end of the fairways and merely were fairway grass cut short - the greens were very rough. Further, there were no signs of renovation. It appeared as if they course was allowed to fall into serious disrepair; wooden stairs to many of the elevated tee boxes had rotted steps and the wooden bridges for cart paths were deteriorated. Overall conditions (poor at best) were surprising in light of the magnificent homes that are situated on the golf course.

recent heavy rains impacted lawn maintenance. The day we played the grass had been mowed but clumps of grass were every where making it difficult to find balls.
