Gaylord Springs Golf Links
Played On 07/01/2018Great Track
Played here for the first time this weekend. Loved the overall layout of the course and the difficulty. Makes you really be selective on the tee box. Was stuck behind an incredibly slow group for a couple of holes, but other than that, pace was great. Greens were fast and undulating, with pin locations placed carefully in hard to reach sections of the green. I do feel like its a bit overpriced, however it wouldn't deter me from coming back and playing again.

Played On 04/21/2018Not What It Used to Be
Played this course for the first time this year and it really isn’t what it used to be. Crabgrass in the fairways, bunkers not maintained, tee boxes not groomed well. The course layout is worth a return trip, but this course is no longer the diamond in the rough it used to be. Not sure what has happened over the last couple of years, but the course needs some TLC. In any case, it’s still the best, most fun layout of any public course in East TN.

Played On 07/25/2017Great Course, Still too Expensive
This course is great to play. It's short, but the wind comes into play and knocks down the distance on a good amount of shots. Everything was great, from staff to pace of play. The only drawback is that this course is very overpriced. It's worth paying $85 bucks for the prime tee times and about $60 for twilight rates. All that being said, I would definitely play this course over the Harbor course if in Wild Dunes.

Played On 05/05/2017Best Public Course I've Played to Date
I'm from out of town and was in Atlanta for a weekend when I played this course. I played on a very wet day and the course was still magnificent! Greens still rolled well and the course was actually in great shape after a hard rain. No one was on the course, so pace of play was obviously not an issue. I loved the course layout, with a few holes being especially beautiful. On top of that, the clubhouse was immaculate. Definitely had an upscale country club feel to it, and honestly, I'm surprised this course is still public. Hopefully it stays that way so that guys like myself can get out there and enjoy it when passing through.

Played On 05/01/2017Good Course, Okay Value
Played this course following rain and it was in surprisingly good condition. Most bunkers were still in great shape. A couple had water, but very minimal. Hole layouts give this course a pro feel. Tight fairways force you to play irons off some tees. The only drawback to this course is that it's VERY expensive for what you get. $10 less on every rate would put this course right on par for what it is worth.
Rarity Bay Golf & Country Club
Played On 04/26/2017Fun Course
Played this course after a few days of rain, and the conditions were surprisingly great! A couple of beautiful par 3 holes over water and wide open fairways on the front 9. Really allows you to bomb a driver. Very friendly service and really awesome practice area. Only complaint are the blind holes. There aren't any yardage guides or hole layouts at the tee boxes which forces you to kind of guess where the green actually is. Played 9 and 3 holes on the front 9 played that way. Also, greens were incredibly slow, but most likely had to do with the weather from the previous days.
