Like this course. Usually in good condition and nice rural layout. Booked a tee time several days after a snow. They took the tee time and scheduled our foursome. Arrived at the course and the decided that day to close the course. No advanced notice. All four of us calling courses to find an open one after showing up completely unaware that we wouldn't be having a fun day on the course.

Pleasant Valley is usually one of the better public courses in the Northern Virginia area. However, for our round on Saturday, 6/9, it did not meet expectations. To be fair, we've have a ton of rain in the NoVA area and I am sure that negatively impacted course conditions. The rough was extremely long and hadn't been cut and made finding balls tough. Greens were not in good condition. All sand traps had large mounds of new sand. Given we're well into the season, we all expected to be playing a better course. Even with a hotdeal of $71 for the round, the course just wasn't worth it this time around.
