Communication was an issue.

We were visiting the area and I researched the courses I wanted to play.

We had an early tee time on Crooked Cat, we were reassigned to Panther Lakes, and we were not told about it just given a receipt to give to the starter, so that when we got to the crooked cat starter he read my receipt and sent us to the other course.

I cleared up the issue and we did get to play Crooked Cat.

Pace Of play was great as there was no one in front of us, and the course was in good shape. As a 32 handicap I found a couple of the holes challenging but on the whole I had a good time.

The course is very different to what I am used to at home.

The greens were mostly in good condition

The fairways need some TLC

The tee boxes were mostly in need of work.

This course was nice to play and good value when compared to our resort course, However, the grass on the fairways was a little long in places and it was difficult to find a good stance on some of the tees.

First time playing this course today

We will be back.

Definitely worth the 40 minute drive.

The course layout though slightly shorter than I normally play was challenging enough to keep me interested all the way around

We have played Fox Creek a few times but never this early in the season.

We were told that the course was “ cart path only” in my opinion that was not enough there were some areas of the course that were not safe to walk on either.

On several Fairways including the 18th were not fit to play on. The course had not been mowed recently and there were many areas that had standing water.

I like Fox Creek, but today was one of those days when I wish I hadn’t bothered, I hit very straight, but was still losing balls on the “ fairways”

We will go back, but not at this time of year.

We love Playing at Summerfield Crossing.

The staff are always friendly, and because of their policy of pairing up singles and twosomes you meet some very interesting people.

The pace of play was good for a Sunday morning.

We booked a 9:30 teatime with golf now, who then telephoned to ask us to switch to 8:45.

On arrival at 8:15, we were told our start time would be 8:52.

At 8:22, the starter rushed us out to the first tee. This was not a bad thing because it put us out in front of the crowd, and our playing time was excellent ( less than 3 hours for a twosome) but it seemed a little disorganized..

The course was in good condition, some of the greens were under repair, but fortunately they never interfered with our play.

My playing partners gps recognized the course under its old name, and mine had the holes numbered differently. 1 was 10 and 10 was 1 etc This didn’t detract from the enjoyment.

The course was reasonably challenging, and my playing partner found some of the tee shots a little narrow.

We will play this course again.

Had a great time on the golf course today. There was nothing wrong with the over all pace of play. However it was a little start and stop. 7 times my Apple Watch asked me if I had finished exercising,

We were looking for a quick Sunday morning roundas we had plans later in the day.

The starter was aggressive, we arrived in Plenty of time to warm up and do some putting.

The starter would not allow it and sent us out early.

We were behind 2 groups of walkers so havivng been rushed out we did nothing but wait all morning

I appreciate that some people like to walk and I applaud that but to send the walkers out first in front of the drivers and to have 6 walkers in 8 players is not conducive to maintaining a good rate of play.

We took as long to play this short par 60 course as we usual take to play our normal par 72 course.

Not what we expected.

We will tell our friends about our experience.

If you want a nice Sunday morning walk it is probably the place to go. But it is not the place for a quick outing when you have other stuff to do.

I am looking of a "home" golf course, while visiting my son.

This course fits the bill, having the app is great for tracking ones progress.

There are some area of the course where maintenance is clearly needed.

Poor choice of tee by some groups of players in front of us impacted the pace of play yesterday, better education of visitors on the level of difficulty of the course and correct tee selection may help this issue.

We were asked what tees we were playing going to play from, but no one ask whether our ability was equal to our ambitions, I am sure that was the case for other people too.
