Played On 04/18/2018Getting better
Glad to see this delightful little track getting the $$$ it needs to come back from the dead. It was horrible a few years ago, but a new owner is plowing money and care into it. By next season the greens will have been redone and some hole corrections will have been done. And the bar will be done. Can't wait!
Hamptons Golf Club, The
Played On 03/19/2018It's a fun little course
It's not going to give you the same thrill as playing a regulation golf course with lots of par 5s but itks a fun way to spend a couple of hours and the price is definitely right.
Hamptons Golf Club, The
Played On 03/02/2018It’s not for long hitters but it’s fun
It was a beautiful day and 4 of us set out for 9 at around 4 pm. We were all alone. No one in front. No one behind. Perfect. The starter must have been somewhere else so we just teed off. The holes are short but there were no signs anywhere about staying on the cart path. Anyway, at one point the started did come up and remind us to stay on the path on par 3s. Other than that it was a perfect round and our beginner golfers loved it. We will return
Hamptons Golf Club, The
Played On 01/29/2018It's a great place for a quick 18
This isn't an executive course but it isn't a back breaker either. There are some fun longer holes where you can pull out your driver, but for most of the holes you won't need it...and your short game will get a good work out. I had a great time. The hot dog smothered in onions was good too.
Highlands Reserve Golf Club
Played On 10/26/2017Hills and dales and a great golf experience
Florida isn't known for topography. Flat as a pancake is our lovely state - mostly. But if you venture north a bit on RT27 from I4 you will find a lovely golf course with undulating fairways and elevated greens and tee boxes. And interesting, challenging golf is only part of the toal experience. From the greeting by the staff when you drop your bag, until you stop for a drink after your round, you will be treated like a cherished friend. I wish I had found this little gem a couple of years ago and saved my money spent on lesser courses. Did I mention the pine forests? And the view? Wow.
Camelia/Boganvilia Golf Course at Cleveland Heights Golf Club
Played On 03/22/2017Excellent shape right now!
Cleveland Heights is in great playing shape right now. Our playing partners yesterday said they get the place looking nice before the annual 4 ball tournament. So....get over there but don't book a time after 4 pm - that's my slot.
ChampionsGate Golf Club - National
Played On 02/09/2017Best course in the area - by far!
Played again yesterday. Really, you can' task for a better experience at a "you can play" non-private course. Certainly it's worth far more than what we have been paying to play at 3 pm. You can't get 18 in at that time of day, but for the price it's an unbeatable deal. This is not some nasty residential golf course. There are two championship 18 designed by "The Shark"- Greg Norman. Big wide fairways, narrow hard to hit greens - bunkers you will learn to hate. This place has it all. Please don't book at 3 pm. That's my slot.
ChampionsGate Golf Club - International
Played On 01/06/2017Wow! I'm going back for more
Wow - way better than expected. For some reason - maybe the price - I had been playing elsewhere, but when it came up, as a daily special I thought - "I have always wanted to try that course!" It was $35 for a 2:20 and we only wanted to play 9. The course has been newly revovated the starter, Dave, told us. And it's a lot of yardage if you play from the tips - we played whites. There are some interesting water holes, some holes that feel like canyons, and some long par 5s. It's well maintained and the staff are very friendly. It may be that rounds are going to be down a bit during the construction of the new resort and condos. Eventually the price will go back up. Meanwhile have a blast! Practice balls, cart with GPS, cute cart girl with frozen Margaritas and good cigars - what more do you want?
Celebration Golf Club
Played On 11/26/2015I love this place.
I really don't want to give it a favorable review because that means more people are going to play. However if you are in the Orlando area I do strongly recommend that you try Celebration. But please don't play the day I am booked, but if you end up in front of me please play fast! I hate to wait. Yours truly Tim Godfrey

There are so many great courses around the Lakeland and Western Orlando area that are better in almost every way. I say almost because the clam chowder in the restaurant is probably the beys I have ever had. Otherwise save your money and go somewhere else to play golf. Right now my favourite is Ridgewood Lakes. Most improved course in 2013. Last heatproof it was a diets owl with bad greens. This year, under new management, it is amazing! I almost hesitate to tell you this because I don't want to have to wait between holes, but as a nice guy who wants to help his fellow golfer I guess I have to do my duty.
Deer Creek RV Golf & Country Club
Played On 4/14/2013The greens need a great deal of work. The course is under-maintained
Our biggest complaint is the condition of the greens. The course is a fair layout considering the fact that it wends its way through an RV resort. There are some very short holes - and no par 5s, which we expected. But the general conditioning of the course is poor.
Thanks for the feedback and nice comments. We have renovated all three courses over the past 4 years. We try to give the best golf experience throughout the year. The difference is that the over seed dies off heading into Spring as temperatures hit the 90's. We hope to see you in the future. Brock Witmyer (GM)
