Better shape
At first glance I would say that Desert Sands was in better shape than at the same time last season. The course seemed to have been groomed a little better around the greens including the fringes.
Some teeing areas are pretty narrow and the tee box markers are set too close together. They should be set to the width of the box, give or take 6 inches.

We received a very good rate
How can you beat $11.50 including cart? This course has a driving range, chipping area and practice putting green all very close to the first tee.
