Course in good condition. Not visited in 6 years but not much seemed to have changed. Played as a 2 ball. Got round the first 9 with little hold up. Let 2 ball through on 10 and then seemed to be waiting on the 2 ball in front of them, who we'd not seen before 10, for rest of round. Greens good considering.

Had a good round. Had to pause after 11 due to a storm passing nearby. Went back out and had millionaires golf. Greens OK. Tees OK. Would play again

As a 2 ball we were keeping good time but kept having singles chasing us down. Why can't the proshop pair people up? Greens small. Tees in poor condition. Played better courses in better condition for the same money in the area.

Arrived on time but it was Saturday morning after the course had been closed so start was chaotic. A group who were 30 minutes late were still allowed their slot in line so rest of us were pushed back further. Greens treated but playable. Would play again but not on the weekend

Felt welcomed from the start. Gave my wife discount as it was ladies Thursday. Greens had been treated but playable. Would play again

Picked after reading reviews. Not too expensive when battling jet lag. Greens a little slow but smooth. Course a little rough in patches.

Thoroughly enjoyed the course. Lots of wildlife, parachutists, but too slow.

Our 2 ball stuck behind slow, wayward 4 ball all day. In their defence all the4 balls in front of them were slow. There was a 4 ball playing a Texas scramble, a notoriously slow form of the game. No sign of a Marshall all day but plenty of beverage carts to ply the 4 balls in front with beer to deteriorate their games and make them slower.

Such a shame as the course is beautiful. Would come back but would give serious consideration of the vfm given the slow pace.

Our 2 ball made into a 3 ball but after 4 ball let us through on 8 we had brief period of not waiting. Shame that pace of play spoiled appreciation of a nice course. Would come back if in the area as not much choice in this price range.

Picked as our first course in the area. First nine felt a little rushed as the 4 ball behind were playing the front tees and seemed to be playing greensome foursomes. Or they may have been trying to keep ahead of the rain. It really came down and we had to shelter on the 13th for a good while. After it eased the fairways held some water but the greens looked and played like they did before the rain. Oh, and the deer flies were a nightmare, but can't hold them against the course.

Needed a course to play before flying back to UK. Checked with course that had showers before booking. Managed to get off early as course was quiet. Fairly quickly we were caught up by a single who we let through, then another on 10th. Another single overtook us both as we let the first through, and another caught us on the 16th, but wasn't putting. Do members here not like each other?
Wanted to share a salad in the bar and they brought two plates of salad having split it. Great service!
Showers fairly typical of those at courses at home, but not of other country clubs in US.
Overall a great days golf to finish our US vacation.

We played earlier in our vacation with someone who recommended University. We managed to schedule a round there and were not disappointed. Played 10/19 so would look forward to going back sometime to play from 1st. Great condition given the drought and the condition of other area courses that we played.

Requires more thought than most courses in the area. If all you want to do is spray a driver, then go elsewhere. If you want to see if your golf game is good through the bag, pitch up here. I'd just suggest you wait until the course has recovered from the drought, but then the water hazards will add to the difficulty and the rates will probably be higher.

As a 2 ball we got called through by a 4 ball on the first which was great. Kept up a good pace after that. Course in great condition. Would return if we come back to the area.

Played the course with the prospect of rain. Didn't seem to mean much to the groups in front. Just got the last hole in as the groups ahead disappeared for their rain checks. Course was OK but pace of play was what we'll remember

This is the best course we have played this vacation and great value. My only concern in recommending is that they were beginning to rip up the tee boxes. The rest of the course is terrific considering the drought it has endured.

Course in good condition given the rain the day before. Herons, cardinals, osprey and a kite, but no gators. It was hot and slow but it was a Saturday. Good value and a good starter to our vacation.

Great to get out of Sacramento and into the hills. Course was in great condition. Weather was fine but warm. Only lost one ball but didn't score below handicap.

As a TPC the course raises great expectations, but as it is still in development those expectations must be restrained.

Played with my wife as a two ball. All was well until we reached the 11th and caught up with a 4 ball. Our round ground to a virtual halt and they showed no inclination to speed up or let us through. As a result our mood and standard of play dropped.

There was no on course marshal to monitor progress. And no management of pairings to even the pace of play. Perhaps when the facilities are finished and staffing levels increase then such situations will be less likely. But then the price premium will rise.

Course in good condition and would play again but would be concerned at the pace of play and etiquette encouraged.

Nothing outstanding comes to mind of the course, facilities nor the staff. Compared to the courses we play in UK the course is easy to bomb off the tee without much hazard. Greens far slicker than used to at home which is why we come!

A pleasant golf outing for a reasonable price.
