NIce and challenging. Had to pick your drives and some of your shots. Greens in great shape and rolled true. I will come back to play this course again.

I read all the review about this course and heard since it was remodeled and i needed a vacation from Houston, I drove out to New Braunfels for few days. The course is not all that long from the Gold Tees, only a little under 5700 yards, but it was quite challenging. Can't use your drive off every hole. Some shots on the par's require a little target golf. It's a great little links style course for walking or riding. If you have the time, take a weekend and visit New Braunfels and play Landa Park Golf Course. You will enjoy it. The course is loaded with wildlife as well.

I used to play Longwood a lot, but their greens went to pot, so this was the first time I've played the course in a little over 2 months. The greens were is great shape, compared to before, even though they still had a few bare spots, but not in strategic places. I have to give the new guy they hired to fix up the course kuddos on the new look.

Brock is a good little muni course with long par 3's. All but one were over 180 yds, one of the few courses I've played with every par 3 that distance. The greens were in pretty decent shape with only a few needing a little work. There is a bayou that comes into play on this course on several occasions and thus making you play your shots accordingly. Overall a nice little muni course.

Overall, this course is fairly well maintained. However, I found the greens to be a bit ragged. They needed water and fertilizing. They were also cut too long which made putting a bit of a major challenge considering the ball not rolling a straight course, rather bouncing up and down or side to side. I think that if the course maintenance people would fertilize and water the greens, this would improve the overall situation of this course.

This is one of the older courses in Texas. Overall it was very challenging, but needed work on their greens. They were super slow and varied in depth as far as the grass was concerned. There were grass clipping on each green suggesting they were freshly cut and were not swept clean. I still would recommend this course based on how pretty it was, and would definitely go back and play it again.

This 40+ year old course is fabulous to play. Lots of challenging holes where you have to place each shot.

This course is not all that long, only 4500 yds from the white tees but it will make you play planned shots. An example is number one. If you hit the ball down the middle, your shot could end up in the left rough or in the creek. This hole slants to the left and the creek, so you have to play right in order to bounce your ball off the right hand hills and back into the fairway. There are 9 par 3's, 8 par 4's and one par 5 on this par 64 course. Each shot has to be planned out or you could end up in major trouble.

Would recommend this course to anyone visiting the World Golf Hall of Fame.

This course is totally pristine and absolutely beautiful, as well as a challenge to play. If you're lucky, you might see a few of the local residence swimming in the water holes. (alligators).

This is not a bad course to play. It's a little challenging but more like a country golf course. The fairways need attention, mainly water but the greens were in great shape.

The greens and tee boxes on this course were in really poor condition. They were reseeded the same morning we played and I think the course should have been closed for a day or so to allow the seeds to take hold. The second thing was the amount of water on both tees and greens. In combination with everything, the greens were impossible to read and put on. The last time I played this course, it was in great shape.

It's no wonder that this course is rated in the top 100 courses according to ESPN. It is absolutely fabulous and quite challenging when played from the 'tips'. I would recommend this course to all simply because of the nature and natural beauty of the course. However, the 20 MPH north wind made for a bit of fun on many of the holes.

From the back tees, this course is quite challenging. You must hit the ball fairly straight on all approach shots to the green. The greens were in excellent condition, but the fairways needed a bit of weeding. All in all, this course offers great challenges.

This is a beautiful course located in Cinco Ranch near Katy Texas. From the tips, it's quite challenging and it is also a very well maintained golf course.

This course needs a lot of work. The greens were full of bare spots and crab grass making putting difficult due to the ball not smoothly rolling, but jumping from side to side. The fairways reminded me of moguls on a ski slope and had cracks in them from lack of water. All in all, I would not recommend this course to anyone unless you like playing on cow pasture.

This course if truly one to play in the Houston area. It is not only challenging, but is well kept, almost to the state of being very pristine. I would definitely recommend this course.

This course has doglegs which can be quite challenging, as well as being tree lined. Every time I've played the course, it has been relatively dry, even after a good rain fall.
