Zellwood Station & Country Club

The day started with being told I was a hour early which I wasn't but they had a members tournament teeing off so then why are you selling tee times to the public. Next we had to play behind members that just jumped in ahead of us and would not let our twosome. Play though. Five and half hour round never again these member open to the public courses aren't worth it and the person working the counter at this course we are cash paying customers your rudeness will not go unnoticed.

Course was in pretty good condition holes 8&9 were pretty wet with all the rain the day before but manageable.Greens rolled well little sandy from top dressing ahead of us but still good shape. Worth playing
Sanctuary Ridge Golf Club

Fairways are thin, greens are slow and bumpy and not mowed, rough well if your off the fairways good luck finding your ball. The course use to be one of the better ones
Hawk's Landing Golf Club

The layout is nice that being said the condition of the course was not that great for this time of the year in central Florida. The greens had been punched and haven't healed, parts of the fairways were bare, bunkers were hard and not raked.
For the price I will play Orange County or Champions Gate
Country Club of Coral Springs

First time playing this course it’s a great layout, the greens rolled well the fairways were nice. Will play again if we come back to the area
Green Valley Country Club
Played On 07/09/2018Far cry from what it use to be
What a huge disappointment, where was the Bermuda the green had craters and bare spots, the fairways were thin with many bare spots. Weeds everywhere, temporary tee boxes, this course a year ago was in much better shape. This time of year when the grass is growing the course should really be in better shape.

Elk Run Golf Club

The course is drying out and it appears with the course planning to close at the end of the season they are opting not to put much money into the course. Many fairways were dry and hard.
Kings Ridge Golf Club - Kings Course

The course was in pretty good shape. The bunkers could use a little attention but were playable. My foursome played 18 in under 3 1/2 hours I believe cause of the weather cloudy not very many golfers on the course
We appreciate you playing Hawk's Landing and for taking the time to write a review. We apologize that our conditions at the time of your recent round of golf did not meet your expectations during our aerification recovery period. At this time of year many golf courses in our area aerify 2-3 times to make sure our turfgrass stays in great condition throughout the year and we always do our best to communicate that in advance. Our next aerification is scheduled for Sept 4 & 5 so we hope you can make it out again before then.
We also are totally restoring our bunkers (1-2 holes at a time) with state of the art drainage and 4" of new sand with an expected completion date of October 12.
We appreciate the 4-Star rating and look forward to seeing you for another round of golf very soon.
