This is a little gem down in South Phoenix. Fun layout, good course, and a very nice staff people.

My only concern were the bunkers being a little hard (firm), seemed like they are in need of a little work. Otherwise a fun course, and worth the money.

I would like to start by complimenting the staff, very friendly and seemed to care about the guest/golfer experience.

Having said that, they grossly overbooked the facility - morning tournament, afternoon tee times off both 1 & 10, closed the putting green for paying golfers for some putting event, range was crowded and short on stalls and balls, and crews were already starting to tear down the course for over-seeding including the practice areas.

I've been to this facility before, with a pleasant experience, but the lack of advance notice as to course conditions, pace of play and over-seeding schedule was just not acceptable.

Nice course, nice people, need to get a little better with your pre-tee-time communications.

Always a pleasure to play Legend Trail, summer pricing is very competitive and course is in good condition (especially for end of summer).

Course is in pretty good shape, fairways maybe a little dry, but the greens were the problem - too hard and fast, did not make for an enjoyable round.

New layout is nice, staff is friendly, but it's still a diamond in the rough.

Worth the drive, would go back if they let their greens grow out a little more. We all know water is a limited resource, especially in AZ, but they seem to be limiting it even further than other courses.

I will have to check if they have updated their GPS on-course coordinates recently, as a few holes were off for most standard personal GPS devices. NO GPS in carts either.

Not sure if the greens-keeper was in a bad mood when he/she set up the course. Greens were running very fast and pins were put in difficult, somewhat silly, slopping locations. For a resort style course on a weekend, not a good combo - made for a slow pace of play. Range was beat down to bare ground.
Could be a better golf experience with only a few tweaks.

Course was recently over seeded, and cart path only, but the conditions were excellent, and pace of play was good (even with cart path only).

The North coarse was in ideal conditions for summer. Good value this time of year.

Overall a nice experience. Good course, solid layout. The Practice areas were a bit dicey - grass was a little bare on the range, and certain areas were roped off for 'members only' (and no members using them).

This could be a top-notch resort, but needs a little attention to get there.

Always a pleasure to play at this golf facility. Great practice area, both courses are on my personal Top 10 in the greater Phoenix area and a nice clubhouse.

Course is always maintained nicely. It was running a little fast this weekend. Good twilight rate. Course was busy, but still finished in 4 hrs.

Basically a private club, that open a few times times up to non-members.

Another good Troon course with good conditions and good greens. A great value

This course always seems to be maintained with good course conditions, even in summer.
