Great outing with the fam!

Played with the family on this scenic course. Lots of options for all level players. Course was well maintained. Very friendly staff. Got a hot deal and would return for that reduced rate.

Fun times with the fam!

Got a great deal through golfnow to tee it up with my dad and wife. The day started well as the pro shop, cart crew, and starter were extremely friendly. The layout was challenging yet open enough for scoring. The fairways and rough were well maintained. The greens were my biggest issue. They look great but were a bit spongy for my taste. If you can throw darts, you can score. Just make sure to use a driver greens. (Kidding) However, roll them once and a while. The overall experience was fun. I would most certainly return in the future. I just need to make sure I don't give too many strokes next time to my wife and dad.

It's got character!

In the heart of Pigeon Forge, this track offers twists, turns, and drops. Although the scorecard shows a short course in comparison to most, GGC offers lots of slope. The signature hole, Par 3 number 12, offers well over 100 feet of drop from tee to green. The greens, tee boxes, and fairways are in excellent shape. This course is a must play while in the area. The only knock is no driving range and slow play. However, don't stress, your playing golf in vacation central.

Nice track in a new development!

One never knows what to expect with vacation golf. Finding a deal for $34 was the attraction to this course. (Got to love Golfnow.com) It was most certainly worth the money. Now, when you arrive don't let the construction and pro shop in a trailer scare you off. We were greeted with a cart at our car upon arrival. Once checking in, we hit a few balls and headed to the first tee. The first tee was 10 on this day. After looking over the scorecard I decided to play the whites at 6400 plus yards. This is one LONG course from the tips. They call them the pro tees at over 7700 yards. WOW!! The course was is good shape. Knowing I am spoiled from my home course does not help. Several well place bunkers made it fun, that is if you like the beach. My only complaint would be the speed of the greens. SLOW.....That is turtle power. Honestly, I can't complain! It was a friendly course for all games. My wife played the women's tees which were appropriately lengthened. Teeing off at noon meant we had the course to ourselves. Which was nice, as it was hot and we could play at our own pace. If ever in the area again I would take on the challenge of this course again.

The money speaks!

What can I say, we paid twelve dollars. If you are looking to just swing this is your place. Upon arriving at the course the club house told the story. One person crew of cart boy, pro shop, and snack bar. Lucky for me, I got the last sports drink to keep hydrated. The course will leave you with much to be desired if you are looking to play a typical MB track. But, might I remind you we only paid twelve dollars. Yes, that included cart. Overall, my wife and I had great time. But, if you care about the course pay more and be happy. Let's just say I can't wait to play my club at home.

You get what you pay for!

Let's just say that we paid $15 to play this in need of help track. The pace of play was beyond slow. For some reason, my guess the need of money, the course booked tee times in the middle of a golf scramble. When we went to the first tee box there were seven groups on the first hole. Once it cleared, well it did not clear. I call it hit and wait, wait, wait, wait, and hit golf. The course condition was perfect for the $15 cost. Honestly, you can't expect more. If you just want to swing, this is your place. If you care about the quality of the course, run.

Highlands on the greens too!

With the addition of 36 holes at the Sevierville Golf Club, the foothills of the Smoky Mountains has become a great golf destination. The Highlands course offers quite the challenge. The terrain is very scenic. Hitting the ball straight is recommended. Not to long makes one hopeful of a low round. However, the challenge around and on the greens adds a difficult yet fun twist. The undulating greens and unpredictable speed make this course worthy of a tatanic challenge. I can't wait for my next trip to the Highlands of Sevierville. Don't forget to make a 36 hole trip and play the River Course (aka the BEAST).
