This is my second similar review in two weeks. Love this course, great layout etc. The greens continue to be subpar. I was told they were top dressed in mid-October. Two weeks ago they were still too long, bumpy and inconsistent. Frustratingly, the same conditions persist. They need to be rolled! I've golfed 16 days this month in the area (between Temecula and Oceanside) and the greens here standout for all the wrong reasons. I really like this course but won't be returning for a while now

A golfers golf course. Lot's of variety and challenge. Fairways in best shape in years. Greens were fast and true. Lot's of fun to play - but hit it straight!
Mt. Woodson Golf Club

I've been playing Mt. Woodson in the fall for a 5 or 6 years. Today was the best condition ever. Fairways were excellent. No more big dry patches. The greens were excellent. They held approach shots exceptionally well, rolled true and quite fast.
Best bargain in the area!

Great layout. Fairways excellent. Superb deal on golf now ($37) My only complaint - I was told that the greens were punched 3 weeks ago. I expected them to be in way better shape by now.... long, still punch marks and very bumpy. Should be cut to normal length and rolled by now.

Played all 27 holes. Exhausted from walking, a couple of hills to deal with. Well worth the visit. 3 nines quite different and challenging in their own ways. Regular golfers will appreciate the layout and nuances of the course.
Shorecliffs Golf Club

The general condition of the course was disappointing. Fairways were patch, bumpy and quite wet in places. Greens were the only part of the course that were up to standard. It appears there are a couple of holes under construction so two par 5's have been turned into par3 and 4s.
Routing is goofy too. Kinda weird to travel between holes in water overflow tunnels.
Arrowood Golf Course

One of my top 2 or 3 courses to play in the Oceanside area. Played from the blue tees - plenty long for a 10 HC. The course has a nice variety of holes. Advice, play #16 for bogey, don't bother trying to get there in 2. Got a great price on golf now - $50!

Thank you for your valued feedback! Although our greens have had several weeks to recover, we have not yet lowered the cut length to it's normal height due to the fresh sod that was used to replace several damaged areas. We did not want to create inconsistent putting surfaces, we wanted to ensure the repaired areas are grown out enough to then cut down to the same height as the rest of the greens. I hope you get the chance to come back in a week or so, as the greens are normally rolling much smoother! We also have a special running through November: $59 includes a sleeve of Titleist ProV1 golf balls! Thanks again for your feedback and support.
