March golf

This course is always a must play. One of the nicest,if not the nicest links style courses in Ontario. To play in March is a bonus. The course was dry. Greens were a little bumpy, but hey, it's March 3rd. The greens here in the summertime are fantastic. It's a bit of a drive from Kitchener, but it's worth it. I play here at least 5-10 times a season. Not much for a clubhouse with all the extras, but it's the golf I come here for. The staff here is always friendly and welcoming. Great shot value here.

Early start

Course wasn't too bad considering it is early in the season. Only 15 holes are open due to bad drainage on holes 4, 5 and 6. Locals know this as a regular thing at the beginning of the season and after a heavy rain. Nice in the summer and fall here. Short course but you need to know how to put the ball in the right spots or your day will be rough. A good short game pays dividends here.

Had to cancel this round, however, I have played here several times before and am never disapointed. The layout is fun and tbe greens are always top notch. Always a fun challenge.

Great layout.

This course is a real challenge. Choose your decks wisely. The greens here are fantastic. Very playable course but when the wind is up, it's a whole different game. Not your average course here. Requires thought every shot. Love this place. Just wish it was a little closer to my home but worth the drive from Kitchener.

Bring your putter

Played this for the first time with my nephew who enjoys travelling around to different courses with his uncle. The staff there was very welcoming and made sure we were set for our round. The course itself was in really good shape. Tee to green we both found was not very difficult until you reach the greens. There really is no flat lie on any of the greens. They roll true but really make you work for those eagles and birds. Par 5's were reachable in 2 but a challenge to sink the putts. Felt we both should have parred the course but walked off with 80 & 81 as our scores. We will go back a little more educated of the subtle nuances of the greens there for sure. I would recommend this course to anybody due to the fact that they have 5 sets of tee decks to choose from. ( we enjoyed second from the back) Playing from the tips would be a challenge I am sure for even a professional. And yes this course is walkable. Take an extra club on 9.

Good deal

Course was in pretty good shape for early in the season. Greens were great for being early as well. I enjoy playing here first each year to get back in the game. It's not too difficult but has it's challenges. It's peacefull here other than when the occasional train passes by.

Great course

I play this course every time I visit Sun City. A beautiful clubhouse and the course has a nice layout. Conditions are always great in the winter months. I have never played here during the summer. Club Link has acquired the courses around Sun City Center with Sceptor being up to par as a Club Link course however Falcon Watch with it's 3 sets of 9 leave a lot to be desired. A lot of weeds have taken over the course. It has a great shorter type layout but the condition of the course is horrible. I have yet to play Sandpiper though I understand it to be similar to Falcon Watch.

Great for a quick round

Have not played here since I started golfing about 17 years ago. Got a great deal through Golfnow at $10 for the round so why not right? This is a hilly course to walk but if you are in ok shape you will be fine. Played the Willows and the Lakes and found the Lakes to be in the best shape. Pretty short course from tee to green but once you get on the green don't expect a flat lie anywhere. Bring your putter to this course because the greens are very challenging. A little more TLC would make this place much nicer.

Course could use some tlc.

This course has a challenging layout, but much like most of the Golfnorth courses, the conditioning leaves a lot to be desired. A great hotdeal rate with a cart but regular rates are a little high for what you get. Some of the tee decks are a little close together and didn't enjoy almost being hit by stray balls about a dozen times. Probably won't return.
