My friend was visiting from VA and we decided to book a tee time. Course was mostly empty. Staff was friendly and clubhouse is a nice place to relax and grab a drink and bite. We went off early. Course was in good shape with the exception of the greens. There was a lot of inconsistency between greens. Some holes the greens were so spotty it was impossible to get a true roll. Others were in excellent shape. The putting green was in similar shape. Some of the issues could have been mitigated by pin placement. Overall, we had a great round and experience.
Little Ocmulgee At Wallace Adams Course

First time playing this course. Pin location on 1st hole was unplayable. Back left on severe slope; otherwise the placements were fair. Could distinguish more between tees. Gold - 6100+, White - 6300+, and Blue - 6500+. Greens rolled well and true. I had the first morning tee time. Staff didn’t arrive to open pro shop 15 minutes before my tee time and then a course employee jumped ahead of me at first tee delaying my tee off. Not the biggest issue but the course employee could have tee off well ahead of me to avoid the delay. Overall great vale and a true test.
The Club at Osprey Cove

Enjoyed the course very much. Generous fairways. Most trouble visible from tee. Greens were hard so long approaches are difficult to keep on green if you carry to the hole. Green speed was moderate. Overall an enjoyable layout with multiple views of the marsh and St Mary’s River in the distance.
The Amelia River Club

I enjoyed playing the course. The staff were especially helpful in walking me thru the course book and highlighting hazards that aren’t visible from the fairway. The greens rolled true and were moderately quick. The 1st green had a swell, closer to a gully, running down the middle. My approach on the par 5 landed on the opposite side of this feature from the hole and it made it impossible to roll any sort of true putt. Enjoyed a nice late lunch at the ample grill. Waitstaff first rate.
Brazell's Creek Golf Course

Greens were in excellent shape. Sand traps were compacted. Lots of doglegs and since it was my first time playing this course found myself driving thru doglegs more than I would have preferred. Back nine is links style. Wide open with lots of risk/reward holes. A couple drivable par fours. Overall, I enjoyed the course. Total time for round was 3hrs 20 minutes.
