Lane Creek is very good course for golfers of all levels. The course is always well kept and the management staff understands the value of loyal customers. It's s bit of a drive from the metro but I play here often because the overall experience is well worth the commute.

The greens were a little beat up from excessive play and the summer heat which is to be expected this time of the year. Given the caliber of this golf club and the $$$ they demand range balls should be set up for players. Bagged range balls is expected at a low cost municipal course.

Overall the course was not bad. The greens were excellent however the fairways needed mowing and there were bare spots on several holes. A little too pricey for the course conditions compared to other courses in the area.

I played this course about a month ago and it was in pristine condition. My second experience wasn't as good because the greens had been punched and sanded the day prior and addition to that the skies opened up after my third hole and the staff closed the course due to the rain and gave me a credit of half of what I paid towards a future round. Great course to play but make sure there is no rain in the forecast because your rain check will be skewed in favor of the course!
