Played as a twosome in less than 4 hours on a Saturday morning. Course in good condition with just a hand full of bare spots on greens that never came into play. Greens were on the slow side, but not bad. Rolled true.

No drink cart. No snacks at turn.. Drink machine on back 9 had bottle of tea when you selected bottle water, and Mountain Dew when you selected tea. Three bucks wasted for each. Pretty crummy when you don’t offer beverage carts.

Great layout, and pristine greens. Very good value.

A starter informed us how important pace was, and that it was being monitored. Card even reflects times for each hole. Yet, he was telling us this 15 minutes past our tee time as they were 2 groups behind.
What's worse, the club let a 5-some out (on a Sat morning, no less!) and of course we all stacked up behind them.

Enforcing pace of play should be more than lip service.

...made worse because the clubhouse is a popular local hangout and they don't make sure players making the turn are able to get in/out quickly.

Had an 11:08 tee time Saturday. Arrived at #1 on time only to find 3 groups still waiting to go out in front of us. Finally teed off at 11:35. Front 9 took 2 1/2 hours, but pace picked up on back and we finished just over 4 1/2 hours total (though nearly 5 hours after we were supposed to tee off).

Marshal said they were surprised that the 8:30 tourney they had played so slow, but I think we all know that tourneys play slow! Just need to do a better job of managing the tourney pace and not booking additional tee times too close after that you can't keep.

DS never disappoints. Even though their greens were still showing signs of being recently punched and sanded, they still rolled nicely. Really quiet for a Sat morning and our twosome flew around the course

CF has been in the best shape I've ever seen it since they hosted the Hill Country Am
