I have lived in this area all my life. Freeway Golf Course used to be really nice and well cared for. The course is wide open and very forgiving. The back nine is more of a challenge and more fun for me. The bad storm we had a few months ago really seemed to have taken its toll on the course. They lost a bunch of trees and the back nine was closed for months because of debris. The overall condition of the course is terrible to say the least. The greens are ugly. The best thing I can say about it is the price was right. Very cheap. If you just want to hit the ball and not worry about everything else, go for it.
