Uninspired boring terrible course

My son and I played and the conditions were surprisingly poor. The reviews were overall good that’s why we came. The course is 85% weed and I don’t mean the smokeable kind. The layout is boring,
The cart paths are terrible. The greens are not true and very slow. Pace of play is a joke. Two groups were ahead of us and we constantly waited, apparently they were having a PGA championship game.
I will say that the staff are overwhelmingly friendly.
So many better choices around. $100 for the two of us was way overpriced .
Tee boxes were so torn up we could’ve planted a garden.
The best part were the roosters on the back 9

Good course but could be great with a little effort

Nice playable course especially for seniors. Rough needs a cut. I lost balls because if you’re not standing over them they are invisible. The greens look like a Petri dish from Rutgers except for 18 which was fine. The cart paths are very bumpy. Had a 2:30 tee time and was sent out on time however we were behind a ladies threesome that was playing 25 yds at a time. Not that there’s anything wrong with that! Lucky they booked at the turn and it was clear sailing. Overall I had a good time and enjoyed the course.

Golf in the time of Corona

Actually a nice course for a county. The back 9 is nicer than the front. Not very challenging overall but greens were fast and in good shape. The value is good. $87 for my son and I including separate carts on a Saturday 3:20pm
Not rushing back but definitely worth the trip

Sub Par

I chose this course based on reviews. My son and I had a late night in AC and when I called to push back the tee time you would have thought I was asking to murder someone. As far as the course goes the greens were in excellent condition but the rest of it was lacking. It’s almost as if the entire layout is in people’s backyards. You’re never more than 20 yds from a house. Really not impressed and for $70 it is only worth $40 at best. BTW the horseflies are the size of birds.

Allan, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us, however, we are truly sorry to hear your first experience with us did not meet your expectations. We pride ourselves on customer service, but it seems we missed the mark on the day of your round. We do have a large league on Wednesday afternoons, so this may have been the reason for any trouble moving your tee time, but we apologize if this was handled poorly. Please feel free to reach out to our Director of Golf, John Hammer, at hammer_john@aclink.org to address any of your concerns as we are committed to providing our golfers with a valuable golf experience. We hope to welcome you and your son back for an improved experience soon.

Fix the sand traps

I like this course. It’s challenging and it eats up balls. They seem to vanish
My main complaint is the sand traps. They haven’t been groomed in years. At least add sand instead of a hard rocky surface

Nice course but not worth money

They must have spoken to the staff because they were all friendly. The course was pretty burnt out due to the weather. Greens were in good shape. It's not a difficult or challenging course, actually kind of boring. No food available. Being out of county we paid $54 for a round and frankly I feel that was steep for the course. I've played many other superior courses for less. However, I'm not saying don't go.

Tight and slow and noisy

Overall we liked this course. It's fun, challenging and the greens are true. It's a tight course, many trees but very doable for an average golfer. It's hilly and there are blind shots but that's ok, like I said it's fun. However, if I have to complain it's mostly with the golfers who play here. They are the loudest noisiest and don't give a care about anyone but themselves and their local buddies. Outsiders don't seem welcome. Some of the tees are close to each other and they scream and laugh and party it up without any regard to other players. That's just rude. One older local duffer playing alone drove up to us to complain about the slow play caused by two groups of twos ahead of us. He actually started banging his clubs around in his bag while my son was teeing off. Really? Like I said, on most courses there is ediquette and certainly respect for other players, not here.

Challenging interesting course

This course contains a hole on the back nine that is one of the coolest designs I've ever played. Two hundred foot cliff is the tee box and you are warned not to go too close to the edge because it's a shear drop. The course is littered with condos which detracts. On arrival we were approached and helped by staff with our bags. On check in I was asked if I was a member and how would I like to pay. I had already paid through Golf Now and gotten an excellent rate for Fathers Day. We saddled up and approached the starter, problem was there was no starter. He was MIA. Again, other staff called him twice on the radio and 10 minutes later he shows up. They weren't busy. There's a menu on hole 7 to order however there's no phone. The cart girl was very pleasant as were the girls in the Halfway House. I'm thinking management doesn't seem too concerned about service. That we basically paid half price for the round I'm not complaining, however had I paid full price I would have felt shorted. It is an amazing course, granted. If you are a decent golfer you will have fun.

Tight fairways, hard and slow greens but true and challenging

First time here and staff is very friendly. The course is tight and presents a challenge if you like to slice. On a few holes the views are great and the cows mooing in the distance provide a farm like ambiance. For $39 bucks it's fine.

Gorgeous County course

Built on the side of a mountAin the views are fabulous. Bears can be seen crossing fairways. Greens are not true.

Nice challenging course

Played 8/19/13 and unfortunately they were aerating the front nine greens forcing us to play the back 9 twice. We lucked out and weren't playing behind slow pokes. The course is challenging but doable if you are a bogey golfer. Staff is friendly we paid $49 for the round I believe it's $69 otherwise

Ok

Course in good shape, very expensive and not worth it unless you get a deal. Main turnoff was caddy master who actually abruptly ordered us to start early. All the other staff was cordial. He was younger guy not the older gentleman starter. Mgmt should have a talk with him.
