A lot of rain a week ago, but greens were fantastic, Course wanders thru the neighberhood with distances between greens and tees, but interesting and fun to play.

The course was once again in great condition with excellent greens and interesting hole layouts. It is a little ride from downtown San Diego, but well worth the effort. A great staff and practice range make it even better. A must on any trip to San Diego.

Wonderfully pleased with the layout and course. Heavy recent rains made some of the fairways difficult, but the greens were great. I would play it every time in San Diego.

Balboa is one of the best old Municipal Courses in the country. Heavy previous rains made the fairways tough, but the greens were perfect and the views of the city are great. Played with a couple from Atlanta and it went really well. I like the course.
