One of the first handful of groups out, and we were being held up on every shot, by two super slow groups in front of us. some holes had four groups stacked up behind them. One of the groups behind us called a pro shop and was told a ranger would be dispatched to speed up the slow groups holding everyone back. However, pace of play only got worse.

After taking 3 1/2 hours to play 11 holes I gave up and left, it’s a shame, because the greens are by far in the best condition of any course I’ve played in 2023.

I will return to give it another try, but only if I can get the very first tee time of the day

This place could be amazing if you had a good ranger

I should know better than to expect a resort course to have a decent pace of play. Otherwise it’s in great shape.

Would be a decent value at $20

Thoroughly enjoyed playing this great course! Orange County National is an amazing place for a golf nut. Both 18 hole championship courses are consistently in good shape and are fun layouts. The nine hole walking course is a great place to take a beginner & also work on your irons and short game & the practice area is massive

Most definitely worth the $

It is very disappointing to report that the customer experience at Mission inn is completely unacceptable

I used to love this place, my wife and I spent a long weekend here playing golf and getting spa treatments for our 19th anniversary a few years ago and had a great experience

Over the summer I played El Campeon at least once a week

Every time was very enjoyable & I am happy to pay for good service at a good golf course.

The problem is the last few times I’ve played the pace of play heads been consistently very slow with 0 rangers.

One time two drunk idiots were about to fist fight, we called the pro shop they said they’d send out the ranger…no ranger ever came out

The most recent time I was out to play several groups of Jr golfers were playing practice rounds for an upcoming tournament and had total disregard for other groups in the course. We called the pro shop to let them know they were playing several balls on each hole. They said they’d send out a red ranger and guess what… no ranger ever came after taking 3 1/2 hours to play 10 holes we had to give up.

It’s extremely upsetting because it is a very nice golf course and has the potential to be great if the management put customer service as a priority

It’s too bad because these experiences is going to cause this golf course to lose out on $200+ of weekly revenue from me

This is my second time playing at Duran.
It is an absolute gem!
Beautiful scenery, great layout, in great shape.
A phenomenal value under $100 for a round of golf

If I had any criticisms, it would be, there were quite a few difficult pin positions. I wonder who made the greenskeeper angry yesterday morning LOL

The challenging pins and gusty winds made shooting an 85 from the blue tees feel like shooting 79 at most other courses

It was definitely the most fun 12 over par round I’ve ever had!

Unbelievable value. The quality of the course is phenomenal. The staff was super friendly.& we cannot wait to come back and play again soon!

My wife and I totally enjoyed our round. The layout is spectacular. The only gripe I would have is the greens seem to be pretty inconsistent from hole to hole. It took 4 1/2 hours to play, however it was Sunday morning and this is peak golf season so that is to be expected.

This is a great little course to get out and play tremendous value for the dollar.

This course is one of my favorite places to be. I love being the first one out and having almost the entire course to myself. It’s great therapy

This is a sweet little muni, interesting layout, very affordable greens fees & good pace of play

One of my favorite things to do bright and early first thing on a weekend is head over to Orange County national and do nine holes on Tooth

The entire facility is fantastic truly a great place to hone your game

Grass around the greens could use a trim otherwise great value for the money

Very surprised to see the course in poor shape with overgrown grass on the tea boxes there’s like teen off from the rough when asked about this in the pro shop was just told we just over seeded doesn’t feel like a great value in the prices gone up since the off-season however the course is in worse shape usually enjoy playing this course however I will not be back until I hear that the conditions have improved

Course has an interesting layout unfortunately it is in really poor shape
