Pioneer at Golf Courses at Kenton County, The
Played On 05/07/2014Great Layout, Greens not so much
The layout of the course is fantastic. It is very challenging, but the course is not in good shape. They have a lot of course workers, but they obviously have no idea what they are doing. They also had no beverage cart, which was surprising with the amount of staff people they had. I would probably go back only if I were to pay the hot buy rate, otherwise it simply is not worth it.
Northcliffe Golf & Country Club
Played On 08/07/2013Great in the morning
This course is a good course for the value in the mornings. I would not play here anytime past 11am. The sun really dries the course out and it becomes concrete. However, anytime prior to 11am this course is fantastic! Great value and will definitely play here again. The staff is extremely nice, possibly the nicest Marshall ever. I recommend this course to anyone

One of the top courses in San Antonio hands down. Was not rushed at all and the atmosphere is amazing.
Willow Springs Golf Course

I absolutely loved this course. The greens were in good but not amazing shape, the fairways were pristine. The teeboxes needed mowing, it was like teeing off from the rough. However, you really do get a great course for the money you pay. I will be going back there A LOT!
Windcrest Golf Club
Played On 6/15/2013Great course, former members are jerks!
I love this course and my father and I have been about 12-15 times in the past 2 months because of all the great hot deals on golfnow.com. The course itself is very easy and very short, but is in remarkable shape for the price you pay. It has better greens than La Cantera, yes, yes I said it. La Cantera has to draw the borders of their greens. The tee boxes and fairways are good condition, minus the par 3's. HOWEVER, the course used to be highly private, and some of the old members still golf the place and if you are not an old member, you are the scum of the earth. These old guys think they own the course. They will boss you around, tell you that you cannot do certain things. For example, I hit one ball out of bounds and dropped to play another ball. One man (red cart with a dog in it, he is there every single day) drove all the way down the fairway blocking my shot to yell at me to not play two balls. Frankly, I wanted to knock his cart over with him in it. Never have I been yelled at on a golf course by someone who is not even affiliated with the course. The people that work there are extremely nice. Overall, I highly doubt I will go back, purely due to these old men. They have ruined the course for me. They are just jerks (cannot use a worse word that would truly fit them).
Woodlake Golf Club
Played On 05/13/2013WORST COURSE IN THE ENTIRE WORLD
This course is emabarrassing. The owner alerted us that they were going through chapter eleven bankruptcy, but this is just pathetic. Nothing is watered, the greens are not greens, they are meerly sand beaches with dirt surrounding it. If you hit a perfect drive, good luck finding it, because the ground is so hard there is no telling where it is. If you hit a perfect chip on the green it will bounce another 20 yards. This course is the worst course I have ever seen in my life. Absolutely pathetic, they should close it and sell it to a cattle rancher. No one should ever have to play here, it is frankly torturous. They should charge .50 cents to play there, because that is all it is worth. The course is just embarrassing.
This same thing happened to me today, he blocked the cart path and told me I couldn't play 2 balls. I told him ok, and then he helped my find my 2nd ball. I thought it was pretty rude, but then he seemed nice.
