Played here 6 years ago and felt the same way. Thought I heard the conditions had improved but that was not the case. Almost every tee box was dirt. Driving range looks like a cow pasture. Clubhouse is beautiful - too bad the course does not match. The layout has potential. The $35 greens fees (afternoon play) should be more like $20. Our cart died on the FIRST hole. Will not return.

Have played this course many times and it has typically been my favorite (very playable) area course. Not sure what's going on with the greens this year but they are extremely slick! Our playing partners likened them to "putting on a hardwood floor".
Unlike many other area courses, Viera East limits your ability to walk the course, and, does not even provide a discount for walking.

I've played this course several times. Seems to be in better shape these days than I remember.

I played this course years ago when it was private - now that it's public, it's still in great condition. Nice layout, a few challenging, hilly holes...Would play there again for sure.

They have started to prepare their temporary greens - be sure to check when they are shutting down their regular greens.

Meticulously maintained, friendly staff, and great value for the money if you can get a reduced rate.

This resort course was in good shape - it's fairly narrow and in many locations close to the highway and/or main roads and somewhat noisy. Staff was friendly. It was a bit tedious to get into the parking lot because they route you through the main entrance to the Marriott.
