Kudos to the green keeping staff. Unlike many other So. Cal. Courses, the fairways are NOT cut short & overwatered to try & maintain a green appearance. Overall, the course was in Great, Playable shape & a fun track to play.

I hadn’t played this course in over 15 years. I was very disappointed by the conditions. We’ve had rain recently & this layout is narrow & runs through the hills. The fairways we dormant but cut so short that it was like we were hitting off firm, wet dirt, not grass. The rough, on the other hand was green & deep. The greens have had some damage. There were sodded areas & bare patches. Tough round of golf.
The layout is beautiful & I hope that the owners can return it to it’s former glory.

Management & staff are doing a Great Job creating a Safe, Fun & Respectful environment for playing golf. Slowly opening more services (the driving range was open & carts were available) in a sensible way, minimizing the risk of contraction the Covid Virus for both employees & patrons.
I enjoyed my round & applaud their efforts.

Course was in very good shape especially considering how much play it gets.
Played in 4 hours so not much waiting to hit.
Great value.

The shorter of the two Costa Mesa courses, with less “trouble” makes this an enjoyable resort style course. The iron shots & putting are challenging with plenty of undulations on the relatively small greens. Usually a good pace of play and a little ocean breeze. One of my favorite courses for a round with my wife.

Had a nice round of golf. The course was is great shape with the exception of some work being done around the greens. No negative effect on the round, just a bit of an intrusion. Great value & great pace.

The course is in very good shape & fun to play. A couple of short par 4s slow it down at spots while the "Big Hitters" wait for the greens to clear before not getting home, but that's to be expected. Nice test of golf. Fair; but not "Easy". Generally challenging greens to read.

It had been probably 20 years since I last played the course. The course was in excellent condition for the price and the pace of play was good.
No real amenities because the old clubhouse is under construction.
Driving range is closed because of the construction as well.
Really a good value and a good time.

Great course layout. Well maintained for a public course & usually a good pace of play. Lots of trees but very fair.

Beautiful warm sunny February day. The course is in great shape. The pace of play was a little slow but consistent (5 hours). The only chsllenge was that when I booked on line, I got a price including cart & when I checked in, as a civilian, I eas ccharged a slightly higher price plus a cart fee for each time. The total cost was over 30% higher than the booking price. Still a good value, but not as advertised.

The course was in Good shape for this time of year.
We played quickly and had a great time.
Overall the course is very fair and easy to see from the tee box. A couple of holes are a little tricky with some water or small crowned greens. Just enough to keep you interested.
Plenty of room to hit & have a fun round.

The staff has made the course very playable for this time of year.
Although it was evident that the greens had been punched recently, they rolled true and fast.
The fairways, while slightly dormant, also played true.
Not overly watered to try to stave off the slight browning of the natural dormant season.
We had a Great Time!
