This is an average course : great for someone learning to play the game. The staff is very gracious and friendly.
It was very buggy one day after a rain and I didn't have any bug spray but they offered us some free of charge. That was much appreciated.

Everyone was super friendly at this course. A great introduction to our first time playing there ! ! ! The fairways were extremely wet and it was difficult to advance the ball. The green were in excellent condition. We started out as a pair but joined the twosome in front of us and played in 4.5 hours.
We will try this course again on a drier day as it was a fun layout with interesting challenges.

We were greeted warmly in the ProShop by Ryan who said he would get us teed off earlier than our scheduled time as we had arrived early. That was greatly appreciated!! The course is in great shape and the mature trees and view of the river is a delight to the eye.
Pace of play was good and we played in under 4.5 hours. We were sorry to hear that they are no longer going to be on GolfNow.

We arrived early and were allowed to tee off when we were ready. We were directed to start on the back nine and the pace was excellent until the 16th hole but from there on we waited at every tee box.
The green and fairways are in pristine condition.
We hope to play there again soon.

We arrived and teed off in good time. The first few holes moved along well and then we got delayed by a foursome three holes ahead who were playing slowly. There was a marshal but she seemed to be patrolling the fairways that were empty.The green need attention as there are a lot of dry spots. The fairways were well cut and maintained. When it started to rain after 13 holes we headed for the clubhouse instead of waiting on the teebox for those ahead to move on.

The course is in good shape and it was a beautiful day. We saw a deer run across our fairway. What a treat ! ! !
The downside was the pace of play. There was no marshal and it took over 5 hours to play. Gruesome!!

The green were great to putt on. The pace of play was ideal. The starter was friendly and informative warning us about possible ticks and poison ivy in the trees.
It is a beautiful mature course and well cut under the trees so one can locate stray balls easily.

The course is well maintained and the staff is very amicable. We had no delays and had a speedy pace of play especially since the rate included a cart.
The scenery is beautiful in this part of the country.
The fairways were in great condition but the greens had some brown spots. Fortunately they did not impede my putts.
I would highly recommend this course to any intermediate golfer.

We arrived early for our tee time and the South course was busy so Patricia said we could go to the West course right away. We had no one ahead or behind us and had a very well paced game. There was water in some of the sand traps but we fortunately avoided them.
The staff is so congenial and always takes time to chat. It feels like a home away from home kind of place. There is a BBQ and concession stand on the 9th hole which is very nice.
Can't wait to get back there.

We had to call the GolfNow customer service representative for assistance in booking this red hot deal tee time and eventually the assistant had to call the course to see if the time was still available. It was and Kelly booked it for us. When we got to the course,
we were permitted to go right to the tee box but were warned that they were busy and it was slow. This 9 hole course is fun to play and it certainly was value for our buck.

The staff was extremely friendly and courteous. We got caught in the rain but were able to find shelter until the showers passed. The course was in great condition and there is obviously pride in ownership. The back nine is more interesting to play and more open than the front nine.
We found this course great value for us as intermediate golfers and hope to return again.

We arrived early because we didn't know how long it would take us to get there.
The course was not busy so we were allowed to start before our scheduled tee time.
The starter gave us a brief history of the course since they are celebrating their 50th anniversary. Very interesting...
Everyone was super friendly and helpful on this mature picturesque course.

We were rained out on the 7th hole this day and we got a rain check with a cart for 18 holes no restrictions.

This is not the first time we have golfed here and every time the service has been exceptional.

It is a bit of a drive for us but well worth it.

The staff was so gracious and the course was in wonderful shape considering we were having drought conditions in Ottawa.

It was a very hot day and they provided bottles of water.

The pace was slow but we enjoyed the company of the people we were paired with.

We went to this course on the red hot deal and the owner told us that he was doing us a favour by honoring our tee time and that he would not let us play again if we came back for the same price.

The course was very dry because of the drought and the pace of play was fast as there was no one to be seen either ahead or behind us.

Needless to say we were not comfortable enough to go back to this course.
