Vidanta Vallarta Course at Vidanta Nuevo Nayarit-Vallarta
Played On 02/26/2018Nice course
The whole Vidanta resort is very nice. The staff was friendly and the course was nice to play. The greens are extremely fast, even the caddie told me to aim short on every green because its very hard to go pin seeking and get a ball to stop. Some unique and fun holes to play though and the course was in good shape. Bunkers are maintained well and the caddies are very helpful. Caddie "tip" was $25 and the $135 GolfNow hot deal was still a little over priced for this course. I have play a lot of courses better for a lot less, but its a resort in Mexico with a big name (Greg Norman) attached to it. Pro shop had a couple nice things, but not as much as I expected, and also had no souvenir logo golf balls. I have never seen a course not have those...even a low end muni course for $20 has them.

Course is known as a "hidden" gem in Lake County. For residents, the prices are by far the best you can get anywhere for the quality of this course. It's a little steep for non-residents, but still a great place to play. Course is shorter than average, but the holes make you think about your shots and are challenging. I play this course 6-12 times a year. A lot of average/nice courses in the area, but this is the best choice by far. Conditions are always average or above, staff is friendly, and greens are taken care of nicely.
