The course has continued to improve and improve and improve in the last few years.!!! In a word... WOW!!! so happy to see the course in such amazing condition.

We had such an enjoyable day.. the course was not overcrowded and the pace of play was okay until we ran into a foursome about 11 holes in. We were a foursome and felt terrible for the two somes behind us. No starter available to pair people up at the beginning.
There were a ton of geese that made a nuisance on a few of the holes. The red horseshoes were difficult to find on many of the holes.. they seem to be shoved into the higher grass. Otherwise, the course was spectacular as always!!

I had not played this course in probably 10 plus years... it had been in desperate need of attention.
Love the layout of the course and the fairways were very nice and green and surprisingly Weed Free!!
Many of the ladies tee boxes certainly need attention and in some cases the markers just seem to be stuck anywhere.
All of the cards were filthy dirty in many in need of a good cleaning and repair.
Inside, the clubhouse has lots of active improvements! The View over the lake is beautiful from the clubhouse! Looking forward to some modern restrooms on the first floor!!
Hope the course continues to improve..... looking forward to what is next!!

Our group had a wonderful day ... pretty much had the course to ourselves on a blue sky and sunshine day in February.!! The course was in excellent shape.
The course was very dry.. but it was still carpath, only which was the only downside.

We waited all day behind a 4some of macho hacker guys who would not let the 2 of us play thru. Frustrating!!! We saw a ranger once towards the beginning of round who said that he had told the group in front of us to speed up a bit. They quit at the turn but then the bigger problem was then the foursome in front of us. No one in front of them... always in the trees. Ugh!!! 5.5 hours!!!!
Really loved the layout of the course and it was in great condition!!! Sad our experience was ruined by these guys!!!

I just cannot understand how they could have such nasty surly men working the bad drop.
if they just don't want women coming to the course then they need to put up a big sign that says men and Members Only. I have been to this course four times now... Due to the location and the beauty of the course and layout, I keep coming back expecting different results. If you can get past The bag drop and out onto the course you will not be disappointed. 96 degrees today , and we watched the bag guy take the cooler off our cart and replace it with sand. All the other carts going out had ice and water.

If it wasn't for the beauty of the course itself, I would never go back there. The staff at the bag drop make you keenly aware that you are not welcome as a guest. This was my third experience there and the staff are the same each time.

The course was in beautiful shape! if you haven't been in the last few years, do yourself a favor and go there now... the Cook family has brought it back to life and is a joy to play there!! LOVE this course!

Most of the forward tee boxes were terrible... lots of weeds and very little grass. Lots of course maintenance is need everywhere. Staff was AMAZING and treated you like a welcome guest.
Thank you for your nice comment about our staff. Our tee box renovation was cancelled last summer due to weather, but is now rescheduled for this summer, so please keep us in mind for a future round of golf with better conditions.
