Worst Condition

The 10th hole looks amazing from the street. You can tell they put all their effort into making that hole look good. The Other 17 holes are some of the worst conditions I’ve seen a course. Some of the tee boxes were fine, but they Actually moved up two of the par 4’s to play as par 3’s. Two of the 350-ish yard par 4’a had tee boxes moved WAY up: one to 70 yards, the other about 150. The actual tee boxes looked perfect, but instead they had us tee off really far forward in.a muddy, hacked up spot in the rough. Every fairway was about 90% dead, so even the perfect tee shot would leave you with a dirt shot with zero grass. This course in this condition is worth no more than $20 per player, but instead they are charging $45. Really disappointed.

Disappointing Condition

I absolutely love all three of the Wigwam courses. It’s my favorite place to play in the summer because the price is solid and the course is normally in PHENOMENAL condition. I’ve played all three courses a collective dozen or so times, and every time it was beautiful and green all over the place. Thick rough, perfect fairways, and true greens. Unfortunately today was very lousy. Most of the fairways were dead or dying. Tee boxes were not in great shape. Greens were pretty patchy. I still love these courses, but this was honestly the worse shape I’ve ever seen Wigwam in, and I’ve played there in every season of the year. I was about to buy the Six Summer Pass at Wigwam, but after seeing its condition right now, I probably won’t. I hope they get it back into its previous condition soon!

Good Executive Play

Fairways were in good condition, greens were decent, but tee boxes weren’t level. It’s a good course to practice your short-range and irons. Fairly easy layout and difficult to get into trouble on most holes. A tad on the expensive side, as it’s just as expensive as several full-length par 72 courses in the area. Overall happy with the experience though.
