Maybe the best at Reynolds Lake Oconee

Played the Oconee course today at Reynolds Lake Oconee in Greensboro Georgia. Golf advisor did a trip with Matt Ginella in 2018 which you can watch on the website.

Nice range and practice area with the Taylormade Kingdom in the distance while on the range. From the start this is a very scenic golf course. Ponds, turtles, deer, and lake oconee can be seen and do come into play. The last 4 holes are my favorite because of the lake and they are just good holes.

Visually stunning golf course in the Bahamas

From the time you arrive on property the staff is friendly and very helpful. Breakfast sandwiches and restaurant staff were also good. Proshop staff were very helpful during our second round with the weather we had. Ocean views on many holes which makes this course visually stunning. Number 12 is the fourth hardest hole on the course and it’s a par three. Doesn’t happen very often that a par 3 is ranked so hard.

Great golf course with the great stuff.

Another great course at Turning Stone

Didn’t get to see much of this course because of the weather but what we did see will make me book another visit. Our group played 4 holes before the greens became unplayable. I did see other holes during our visit either from the car or on walks.

Visually stunning from start to finish

From the time you see the clubhouse you have a thought that this may be a special place. Turning Stone uses this course for tournaments and VIP’s so it has less play. Staff and food was good but food was a little slow. I included a pic of the beverage cart and you will understand why. This course and property is visually appealing. Flowers everywhere, a couple of waterfalls, and green grass everywhere. Very fair course, rough was pretty penalizing, bunkers could use some sand. No matter your handicap you would enjoy this course.

Amazing stay and play resort

Turning stone as a whole is a great resort but these golf courses are amazing. Shenendoah wasn’t the easiest course I’ve played but not the hardest either. Premium on hitting the fairway cause if you don’t your in knee high fescue grass. No complaints about the greens other than I couldn’t make a putt. Personally shot 75 from the white tees as a 7 handicap. Would definitely do a return trip to Turning Stone.

Great TPC course

From the minute I arrived at TPC Scottsdale the staff was friendly and inviting. Had breakfast to start which was delicious, did some shopping in the Proshop, and then headed to the range.

The starter at #1 gave tips on the course and the group headed out to play. The grandstands were already up and the course was in tournament condition already. The entire golf course was fantastic but of course the stand out was from 15 to 18. Once you’re on the tee at 15 you can see the arena at 16 which makes you start thinking about that hole immediately. After walking through the tunnel onto 16 which I have to say is a pretty neat experience you were greeted by a short par three. The drivable par 4 17th is my fav on the course. My group played from two up and I drove the 17th with my 3wood. For a true test play 18 from the back tees which we did not do but should’ve.

Great course and definitely a must play when in Scottsdale

Amazing course

This course has everything a good golfer would want. A mix of tight and open fairways, great greens, good pace of play, and a good overall test.
