Great value for municipal course, well-kept but gets very crowded on summer afternoons regardless of weekday or weekend. Can't beat the price. Decent shape for this time of year.

This is the most luxurious and well maintained golf course you are going to find in all of Western Mass or northern Connecticut.

Played here as a guest multiple times. Lot of bunkers, fast greens, excellent condition and layout. Very challenging and can be troubling for a higher handicap.

Only tough part is they charge $125 for a guest round.

Excellent golf course, great layout, course conditions are generally above average to excellent. On a windy day, avoid it though or you will not enjoy it.

Staff and organization could be a little improved. It's overpriced at $150 on a weekend but they get the out of town Newport crowds for weddings, etc. so it's always jammed and pace of play is not monitored well enough to warrant the cost.

If you've never played, you have to try it out, but I wouldn't frequent regularly for the cost.

This is a great track and I play here regularly in the summer. It is mostly kept in great shape despite the course getting a LOT of play in the summer with vacationers and the like.

Don't be turned off by the clubhouse, they never built the one that was originally designed and that's why you have to backtrack to get to Hole #1.

Overall, great value for the course but pace of play is not reliable on weekends in the summer.
