We played on a Saturday morning and despite a full tee sheet, our group played in a solid three hours and forty minutes. We were blown away by the aesthetics and charm of this gem. Every tee box offered a spectacular view of the Ocala hillside and every hole presented a different challenge. From 7,300+ yards, Ocala National required an infinite amount of shots and strategy, and it was fun trying to gauge shots that got hoisted up into the wind above the century old oak trees that lined the fairways. The overseed rye has come in nicely and the greens were running smooth. We can't wait to come back and play Ocala National again.

Played on 1/26. Teed off at noon and got around in about four and a half hours. Course is in very good shape for the time of year and the price paid. The dormant Bermuda was thin in places and created some tough lies, but the greens were firm, healthy, fast, and smooth. Fun track that gives you a lot of different lies, sight lines, and angles. Will certainly be back.

Very pleasantly surprised with Hyde Park on 3/10/18. A fantastic and classic track that you don't get to see much of anymore; it has truly stood the test of time. Played as a twosome on a Saturday morning and we almost had the place to ourselves. Never had pressure behind us or waiting in front of us. Don't let anyone fool you; the greens were very firm and very smooth. Some thin spots in the fairways, but the quality of the greens for the rate was more than acceptable. We will be back.
