Course is closed. Out of business. I don't know what else to say.

The Lake at Grand National Golf Course
Played On 08/02/2014A nice course
Challenging course though not a true links layout. The greens were excellent the fairways had been punched earlier in the week so they were not a their peak. Lots of bunkers, tough undulating greens. First time playing adds 7-10 strokes.
Roanoke Country Club
Played On 07/14/2014Not a goat pasture
The fairways are OK for what it is a 9 hole course in rural Alabama. The greens are poor and small at best most have little to no grass. The "traps" are pathetic. There is usually no one in the clubhouse so you put your fee in a lock box. It is a little pricy for what it is but as a place to practise it is just barely OK. Forget putting.
Clay County Public Golf Course
Played On 06/18/2014The worst course you will ever play
Bottom line it is a goat pasture. The greens are just shorter cut weeds, the fairways weeds and dirt. If you want to play a course like golf was played in the 1700's this is it. You will leave saying this is the worst course I ever played.
Oak Mountain Championship Golf Course
Played On 9/8/2013Well worth the price. Hard to lose a ball good course for moderately skilled players.
Course is in good shape overall. Greens had been aerated a few days before I played but I knew that before purchasing round. Course is as long as you want it to be but wide open. Hard to lose a ball. A scratch golfer would score real well. Recommended for beginners and 5+ handicappers.
