Oshawa Airport Golf Club
Played On 04/09/2017This course is short
If you want to work on your iron play this course would be okay. The course is too short to play with your buddies. It is okay for a quick round with your wife or girlfriend. It was early season, so the course was wet and the greens were very bumpy, but like I said, it was early season.
Oliver's Nest Golf and Country Club
Played On 06/07/2014The greens have a lot of contour
I love the layout of this course. Fairways and greens were in good shape. Most fairways are fairly wide and a lot of the rough is cut short enough to get a shot from there. Although I rode both times I played this course, it would be an easy walk.
Winchester Golf Club
Played On 04/28/2014This course is hilly that gives it a lot of character.
For April, this course was in very good shape except for the greens. They were very bumpy because of the aeration that was done last fall, but they will get better with a little time. The course is quite hilly but this makes it more interesting to play. The staff are very friendly and the course has a laid back atmosphere.
Whispering Ridge Golf Course
Played On 10/03/2013Very enjoyable course to play
I really like the layout of this course. Every hole is different and has a good variety of short and long holes. The tee offs, fairways and greens were all in good condition.

A very pretty course and well maintained. The greens are big and in very good shape.
Roundel Glen Golf Club
Played On 8/08/2013This course has very open and forgiving fairways
The course has a lot of long holes and the fairways are wide enough to make it very enjoyable for the average golfer. The course is very flat which makes it an easy walk. The layout of the course makes it easy to find your way from hole to hole. I have played this course several times in the last two years and it is always well maintained. Not overly challenging, but enjoyable.
Sunnybrae Golf Course - Links/Creek
Played On 9/04/2012Well maintained golf course
This 27 hole golf course is well maintained and the greens were in very good shape. The fairways are wide and forgiving. The whole course is fairly flat which makes it an easy course to walk. The original 18 holes are quite pretty with a few challenging dog legs with ponds and creeks to avoid. The newer 9 hole links course is open but still has some challenges. Great value for the price.
