Rosemont Country Club
Played On 09/11/2019Great 17 holes
Risk/reward challenges on almost every hole. You need to be perfect to par hole 2. 18 is an excellent finishing hole, a par 5 with a giant undulating green. The staff are as accommodating as you can get.
Hinckley Hills Golf Course
Played On 08/08/2015Too slow
Dragging along close to a five hour round, starting with 2 par 5s and a long par 4 (ugh!), we waited behind every tee box.
J. E. Good Park Golf Course
Played On 11/5/2013Leafy Day
What else can one expect on an Indian Summer afternoon, losing balls in the middle of the fairway, as no staff would be able to remove leaves as quickly as they fall.
The course held to its policy that no electric golf carts are allowed to leave the club after 3 PM.
Chenoweth Golf Course
Played On 10/25/2013Especially well maintained.
Amazing devoid of leaves for the time of the year, rich and green.
Paradise Lake Country Club
Played On 9/1/2013A great place to be
Several tee boxes are on top of the world, 5 minutes from god. A beautiful short course, with lots of downhill fairways, raised greens, and tight doglegs.
East/North Golf Course at The Legends of Massillon
Played On 8/4/2013Country Club Quality Golfing
A long drive takes you to a repurposed mental institution, 27 beautifully landscaped holes with honest fast greens, with lots of water, trees, and heather guarding the fairways.
Valleaire Golf Club
Played On 7/28/2013A course which needs work
The fairways and greens are not well maintained; the signature hole is falling into the pond. However, somehow this overpriced course is totally crowded. Friendly staff.
Skyland Pines Golf Club
Played On 6/30/2013A plush place to play
Not a lot of water or sand hazards, wide plush fairways, and manageable rough
Rawiga Golf Club
Played On 6/22/2013Top quality course, not crowded
Each hole has its own unique challenge combining hills, forests and meadows.
Par 3 at Brandywine Country Club
Played On 6/1/2013A fun tricky course
Unique challenges in both the hills and the river bed of the Cuyahoga Valley.
Deer Pass Golf Course
Played On 5/11/2013Fun place to play
Chad and his staff absolutely insist that everyone who comes to Deerpass has a great time. We play a different course in Northeast Ohio every week, and Deerpass has 3 of the top 10 holes in the area. A great value.
Raccoon Hill Golf Club
Played On 4/14/2013This is a course which values its customers.
Jason, the manager, makes certain that everyone gets their money's worth on a course which offers unique golf challenges, tempting all creative golfers to take shortcuts which usually cost stroke penalties. Highly recommended.
Hawks Nest Golf Club
Played On 1/24/2013A golf course with memorable holes
The day would have been perfect if we didn't have to follow a very slow group from the Medina County OSU Alumni golf outing.
Royal American Links Golf Club
Played On 1/24/2013Great challenges await
If this excellent course had a marshal to teach players that they only rent golf courses at 15 minutes a hole maximum, we would all have a much better time. My playing partner had a tap in eagle on the first par 5 on the back nine, over 500 yards.
Regulation Eighteen at Shawnee Hills Golf Course
Played On 12/2/2012One of my top courses
These people believe in their customers. We were the only group on the course on a rainy December Sunday.
The course is honest and somewhat easy, with generous fairways, and almost no sand. At 6100 yards, seniors have a chance to be on the greens in regulation.
The course was in great shape for the time of year.
We are sorry to hear that abou tthe group you played behind resulting in the pace of play during your round. We would love for you to come back and give us another try so please email me directly at carolteetimes@gmail.com
