Starting with negatives - a few of the greens are rough and need repairs.
Old south is a challenging course without being impossible. They have a nice driving range and practice area. Nice restaurant, clubhouse etc. You can set your watch by the starter. The course is well kept, groomed and the bunkers have sand in them. More than I can say for several places. The staff I encountered were all polite, professional and helpful. Yes- we’ll be back.

First time playing this course. The course itself is not very challenging.
The clubhouse / bar/ restaurant / restrooms etc have all had a new facelift and looked great.
Everyone i met was exceptionally nice , courteous and professional.
The carts are very new and nice.
The course is horrible. Chunky greens with weedy grass growing on them etc. Added - much of the grass in the rough and around the edges was OVER 4” TALL.
There are not enough bad things to say about the condition of this course and equally imperative to point out the difference between the people and the course.

Bear creek is a very nice course. By my own error and failure we ended up playing on newly aerated greens.
When I leave a revue - I want to leave a fair and accurate description. Attempting to leave a fair revue of this course in the condition we played would not be fair or accurate.

this is a great course in great condition. they had punched the greens for fertilizing but they still roll beautifully. bunkers are still washed out and some still filled with water. overall this is a beautiful / challenging course with all the amenities anyone could ask for.

it had rained very hard the day before my round so the bunkers were washed and still too wet for repair. . aside from that - the course was in near perfect condition. this is not an easy course. it is challenging. it's not an easy course and the greens will mess with you terribly. great course in great shape with awesome greens.

old south is a great course. not for the faint or weak. the course is kept well and has a great practice area of driving range as well as chip / putt green area. the course was FULL so play was a bit slow. the greens were recently aerated - but every course in the area had recently aerated. if you WANT to complain - you're going to complain. this is a great - fun - challenging course that is well kept and reasonably priced.

shipyard has 3 very nice 9 hole courses. love playing these courses. however- they use bermuda ? grass on their greens that do not run 8-10. they probably run more like a 5. greens were beautiful but very slow. courses all in great shape but a bit of slow play in front of us made for a 5+ hour round. i'll play 18 in 3 hours alone. and - the driving range was closed prior to our game. no notification - no warning , show up to warm up and driving range is closed. no bueno.

colonial williamsburg is a great course. challenging in many ways. great practice facilities.
bad luck of the draw - they aerated the greens last week or a week before. greens were kinda bumpy. i should have asked before booking t.
not the end of the world.
love this course.

very nice clubouse, great practice range w/ putting, chipping and sand bunker practice areas. the greens were in perfect/ nearly perfect condition. they would run and break. the course is not easy. ( that's good ) w/ turns , obstacles, water, tree hazards etc well placed for difficulty. sand bunkers were maintained and raked. the ONLY negative i have is some of the fairways have clumpy grass clippings laying about. fairways were well cut , roughs were cut to correct depth etc etc etc. great course just needs to have the fairways cleaned off a bit. i'll be back. thank you.

the greens were perfect. some of the cutting equipment is in need of maintenance and it shows on the fairways and rough. i probably lost at least 6 balls in the rough ( in fair play ). i saw where the ball went, but could not find it. the course was challenging , not easy, well plotted etc. and the staff was VERY polite , pleasant.

this is a challenging course that has come up in quality since last year. really enjoyed the course. nice driving range , chipping and putting green. good good good all the above.

vinaterra is a very nice course. it's not the most difficult course i've played - but it's not easy at all. it will test your skill level.
it's a lot of up and down and playing across open hazards. one could lose a lot of balls if you can't play straight from a to b.
the greens are very nice. they had been recently aerated so they were choppy today ( 11/10/19 ) - but normally - the greens are very very nice. normally they are very fast and break hard.
they have a very nice club house, driving range , chipping green - with bunker - and separate putting green.
nice place.
