With Rain Fairways Are Greening Up. Be Ready For Green Aeration and Sanding
Course (fairways) have responded well to some 9 inches of rain this week. Lakes are more full and course more pleasing to the eye. Fairways are still a little skimpy with grass due to previous drought conditions.
Greens have been aggressively aerated and top dressed with sand. Recommend you and your group two put max at this point and walk away. They need to do this at this time of year and it just isn't worth it to look for any type of true roll.
Course in much better shape than three weeks ago.
Just OK
There is little to say that is positive about this course in its current condition. Fairway grass is burnt out or is dying, evident fairways have received little water. Greens are in pretty good shape.
There is nothing particularly exciting about this course. Just mundane holes that are not well thought out. It could be so much more but it isn't in its current condition
You would expect more from a joint partnership between the major hotel/resort and major developer it is associated with. It plays like a muni course, looks like one too!
Not Worth It
Do not waste your money. Fairways were in state of distress and course itself is about as ho hum as possible. It's evident that Hyatt / WCI could care less about this tract. The only saving grace is the greens were in pretty good shape.
There is nothing interesting related to this tract. Just a bunch of overgrown Palmettos with crowned fairways and abysmal visuals on most holes.
Have played many "munis" that were ten steps up from this sorry excuse for a golf course.

Well maintained and a series of tees to play from which will challenge you based on your abilities. Fast greens, well maintained fairways and golf layout that is both a challenge and rewarding for strategic shots.
