Course layout is very golfer friendly. The entire course is in good condition, better than usual. The greens are in good condition but always slow, wish they would cut them shorter.

Greens were below average, rough made it difficult to find balls when not in fairway, lots of fairs were thin on grass. Had one bunker shot that had little to no sand in it. I know we have had lots of rain but I play several courses in the area and they are not this bad. Had friends in from out of town and called to ask about rental clubs so I ask if rates were same if I booked online as it is if I book on phone. I was told rates are same. The rates are much higher if booking on phone, thus I was lied to! This was 1st time I had played course in several months due to prepay online. This experience along with course conditions confirmed to me again why I rarely play there.

Course in in fair condition, lots of weeds in fairways, some weeds on greens, several tee boxes were very weedy and not mowed. With some care and I'm sure money most of these problems could be corrected in a decent amount of time. I'm not a fan of prepay and this is one of the reasons why I rarely play this course. Other courses in the area are less expensive, better condition and no prepay. I like the layout and there is very good opportunity for this course but it needs some attention.

We had a good time even with hot/humid weather. Overall condition of course was good. The Greens were in very good condition, Fairways were in fair condition a few spots was very sandy, Tee boxes were hit and miss {some in very good condition and a few were sandy). Pace of play was excellent. Good course for the $$. We will be back again. Owner seems to always be trying to improve course.

Our 1st time playing the course and we will be back. Overall good condition, fairways were better than any we have played the past 3-4 months, some tee boxes need some tlc but they are closing course soon for a week to aerate and work on tee boxes, sand traps were all in very good condition. Worth the $$ to play. Course is not wide open like a few others in the area but plenty of room to miss if you miss on the correct side.

I've played this course a few times and this was the worst condition it has been in. Fairways have lots of bad areas (no grass) and several tee boxes were mostly dirt/sand. This use to be a better course than most in the area but it is now in similar condition but much more expensive than other courses. I was looking forward to playing this course and was very disappointed. Greens did roll good and were in good condition

Course was in fair shape. Greens rolled good but did have some weeds in each one. Grass around the greens was not consistent but they did have grass. Fairways were playable without problems. Water and doglegs throughout the course. Our 1st time playing and they gave us a book with helpful tips when we paid. Overall, we played in just under 4 hours and had fun. Will be back.

Good golf course that is in good shape. A few tee boxes need some TLC, grass is sparse in a few areas. Rough is thick and penalizing but not to high to hit out of. Fairways are mostly good with a few areas having very little grass. Pace of play was excellent, 3 hours for a twosome. Very good layout and overall well above average. Fun to play!!

Course has improved since I last played, 2 months. Greens were in good condition and rolled good. Fairways were fair, some weeds but improving. Bunkers need work and they mentioned that prior to us teeing off. For the price it was a good deal and there is obvious signs they are working to improve the course.

It is an old course but in good condition. The fairways and greens were both in very good condition. Rough was just enough to be playable but thick enough to make it hard to hit out of. Pace of place was excellent, 3 hours for a threesome. Our group will definitely be back again.

Course was in very good condition. Greens rolled consistent and above average speed. Staff in prof shop were excellent, giving us a couple of tips on a few holes prior to us going out. We arrived early and they let us out once we were ready.

This was ouir first time to play River Wilderness and we had a great time. The course was in very good condition especially considering the rain that area has had in the last two to three weeks. Pace of play was just under four hours which I considered excellent. Greens rolled very nicely. The staff could not have been better, the gentleman working the pro shop gave us a few tips on where to hit it and where not to hit it on some blind tee shots. This course will definitely be added to our regular rotation of course just apply in the area.
