I've played here probably 30 times over the past fifteen years and have always been challenged. My 3 random golf buddies(named above) kept things interesting.. shot 43 on the front and was encouraged, but blew up on a couple of holes on the back to finish with 49 for my "usual" 92..
"That all changes this year! " (said most every golfer in the world)

Thanks for still being a golf course(unlike my ex-friends at Trophy Club of Atlanta! ).. I'll be back to break 90 sooner than later. Cheers.

After being unceremoniously dumped by Trophy Club of Atlanta, I've been bouncing around trying different courses... had not played here in several years. Always a quality experience here... course was in great shape and pace of play was not an issue... it's gotten a bit pricy in the last few years, but not a deterrent for an occasional round.

Well...made a golfnow.com tee time a day in advance...I ALWAYS check for aeration alerts...Nothing.

Get there to find that the greens were punched and sanded three days prior..making the greens all but unputtable.

Also found out that holes #14 and 15 were closed..14 due to a sinkhole which did not seem to affect play, and 15 with a flooding situation that could have easily been roped off...so we only got to play 16 holes, with the option of repeating #1 and 2, which were slammed when we stopped by to check after our round.

I really wanted to enjoy this round...but would have waited a couple of weeks had I known about the greens. Too bad that the course staff apparently did not notify golfnow.com..sad to see a nice course drop the ball on this one..it's a good layout and well-meaning staff from what I remember.

After a Christmas visit to family in Savannah, we stopped on the way out of town to play 9 holes on the way back to Atlanta. Ended up playing the back 9, as 2 fivesomes teed off on #1 about 5 minutes before our scheduled time (regular scramble, I guess) No worries, since the back 9 was wide open and we finished in just under 2 hours. Greens were brushy, sticky and slower than what I'm used to, but figured them out as we went along. Overall, nice experience and will be back to play the whole course!

Had not played here in years... got around in under 4 hours, gorgeous weather helped!

Probably the 15th time here, and I consider the drive from Roswell worthwhile.. course was in good shape, greens were rolling true.. pace was a bit slow.. Took our foursome 4:25 to play.. But my buddy and I got paired with a nice couple (Bill and Sandy) who were in town for a wedding and just jumped in... So the time was not an issue.. Didn't hurt that it was a beautiful sunny November afternoon.

Any drive off the fairway by even a couple of feet took forever to find.. you had to be standing over the ball to see it. Greens were eaten up with something, not sure if it was a fungus or terminal neglect... I played there 3 months ago and greens were fine as I recall.. couldn't wait to finish. Got paired up with a couple of singles and our consensus was same... quality of play was diminished by the condition of this course. It can be a fun layout, but needs attention.

I had heard about this course and how tight it was, and it certainly delivered on many holes.. it was laid out in a tough but fair setting. There were certain holes that could have been groomed along the edges to make a slightly wayward teeshot feed back into the fairway a little more generously... but all in all, if you've got a decent short game, it's a fun test. Greens were healthy.. excellent and well-contoured..

Food service at the turn... not so good. Took me 15 minutes to get a sandwich.. and I was the only person there. Not sure how much play the course is getting.. never had any issues with playing time.

Overall, a good experience.. and good value with a golfnow.com Hot Deal greens fee..

Fun, funky and cheap.. got around in 3.5 hours...not the greatest layout, although the views can be awesome. New greens....smooth and sturdy.

With a slight threat of showers, I was able to tee off and play alone in 3:20... This course plays fairly and only has a couple of tricky spots. .. I'd play it more often if it wasn't 35 miles from my home. . always a good experience, and the staff are young and energetic.

First of all. ..ANY time I get to play by myself on a decent course mid-day and mid-week for $18 including cart and tax. .. it's a good thing. Teed off at noon, finished at 3pm, and never rushed. The course has a number of blind tee shots, as well as approach shots, and a couple of the landing areas are very tight in width AND depth. The reward for a fairway landing is typically a reasonable approach to receptive and well-maintained greens, for the most part. .. it was a very wet summer and I was pleased to see mostly soft and true putting surfaces.... others in the area have not fared as well. At only 6500 yards from the tips, it's easy enough to score if you keep it straight. . Longest par-3 was around 175 yards; most par-4s were 400-ish and I think the longest par-5 was 525 yards. .. downhill. It's mostly hilly terrain with some forced carries over brush-filled canyons.... and there are a few bald spots here and there, but fairways were nice. This was my 4th or 5th round here... i play to about a -19 and kept it close to that. .Was casual but fair with my scorecard. . This is a nice little not-so-secret course that gets good attention from the staff. ..
