El Conquistador Golf & Tennis - Canada Course
Played On 03/13/2023Nice facility
El Conquistador has 2 courses and they are both in very good condition. Pace of play is generally very good. The courses are not overly challenging, so they are enjoyable to play and don't wear you down. Layout has enough variety to be interesting and both courses have some spectacular mountain views. Nice to have practice facility included in green fees so you can warm up before your round.
The Club at Starr Pass - Rattler/Coyote
Played On 02/25/2019Excellent, Except for Greens
Beautiful, challenging course in very good condition, except for greens. They were not in good condition and did not appear to be well cared for. At one point I found myself putting over a hole that had been relocated with such sloppiness that there was a very noticeable depression where the plug had been inserted. At the $58 GolfNow price it was a very good value; at their regular price I would choose a different course.

StoneRidge Golf Course
Played On 03/06/2018Not a Level Lie to be Found
Course was plugged and greens sanded, so we picked a bad time of year. Challenging layout. Carry over desert/arroyos required on every hole. Course is carved through canyons. Lots and lots of elevation changes. Many narrow fairways. Lots of blind shots. Course management is a must, which is tough for first time playing it. Definitely not boring!
